When the electricity company is slacking on it's obligation to cut low hanging branches over the power lines.

Or he gives you a box or 2 of 22/250's after he plants his corn and beans.

In '79 I bought a brand new Ruger #1 (single shot, falling block action) in .25-06, stainless steel with the bull barrel, a tack driver out to 400 yards, a distance set only by my own limitations, I'm sure a true sharpshooter could go 1200-1500 yards with their own hand loaded cartridges.

That is a great caliber for those that like to eat deer.

Nice gun.

Nice gun.

I have a Ruger 22 with a bull barrel and a 40mm Scope that shots 1 inch groups at 100 yards.

Good for up to Coyotes, it's bad with a 50 round clip, could put them all in a six inch plate pretty quick. (No one comes up my canyon road if I want to stop them.)

My favorite Deer & Pig Gun is my Winchester Model 70 in .270

Peace

I remember every summer on the farm we would start an old single cyl Lanz Bulldog tractor up and drive it to the river to use as a pump, big solid steel wheels, started with pre-heat from blow torch, could hear the old girl 3 mile away. had an exhaust like a funnel. was kept under cover when not in use.
