There are definitely more biological and natural ways to deal with these little micro mites. Pfr-27 or 72 cant remember is a great biological control of these buggers. Salisylic acid is a great systemic natural remedy. And even highly concentrated applications of pyrethrins, such as pyganic, or with a doktor doom fogger, work great. Nice to rotate them but they will work.

So here's what I'm pulling the trigger on

  1. Hypoaspis (Stratiolaelaps scimitus Womersley)
  2. Amblyseius swirskii
  3. Rove beetle (Dalotia coriaria) or Atheta coriaria
  4. Nemasys - Steinernema feltiae
  5. Amblyseius fallacis on bean leaves
  6. Amblyseius cucumeris Rapid Release

I figured the shotgun approach was the best one.

GG #4, the gift that keeps on giving......If it doesn't have viruses, then it has BM's or russets. One of the biggest vectors the industry has ever seen.

All those listed above are controls, not elimination. Russets are one of the most difficult things I have ever dealt with. I preach organics all day every day, unless dealing with russets. Good luck my friend.

I've had GG4 going on 2 years now, or will this fall be 3? Awhile any way you want to look at it. I'm thinking that whatever I picked up it came from outside. Not blaming any cuts.

Speaking of cuts, here is the Sour Dubb as of right now. It's started taking off and vegging happy

I think I might be losing the Sour Kush as I'm down to one last cutting. It's drooping and I'm not seeing roots on it yet. I feel like I can always pick up another cut from Black Dog as well as ther Sour Diesel again the next time I see them at an Expo though so I'm not too worried. Otherwise I don't want to jinx myself but I'm seeing roots on at least one of each of the following, OGKB 3.0 (yes 3.0), Garlic Breath is in soil, SFVOG, and Chem 91 Skunk VA.

Y'all cross your fingers for me pretty please.

:thank you: clone fairy :dancer:

Hey Who dat is, much support with those cuts. Talking about organic weapons, have you tried nicotine? it is so strong and kills a wide spectrum of enemys. I use to make a tea with some tobacco grams and water, after 2 days it is ready to spray. The worse thing it's that the nicotine kill everything, the good and the bad, so it should be an extreme solution.

I'll take a seat on your thread if you don't mind, mate.

Nicotine has got to mess up a bug. I've blown cigarette smoke on ants and spiders, it seems to affect them immediately, they freak out. Has tobacco tea ever hurt your plants leaves? definitely id want to keep it out of the *pot.

No damage on the leaves, just mix 10 grams of tobacco in half liter of water and spray it (after 2 days the tea will be ready). If there are also mites i'd use a bit of potassium soap on that tea. Do it using natural tobacco, cigarretes contains lot of chemical shits but it works anyways.

I know that tobacco was a great natural way to worm our dogs back when I was living on the road in my younger days. Was always easy to find some rolly tobacco and a piece of sliced cheese.

I've heard mention of using nicotine sprays but not much more than that. I've been using the essential oil blend but I don't know if it's doing anything. I need to pick something else up to rotate as they are starting to show signs of stress from the sprays every 3 days. The mites don't ship for another week still I think so I have to keep limping them along for now.

Keep em limping for sure, knock them down any chance you get, I just found some shit on mine and it makes me want to burn em down, my indoor tent is doing so good too. Oh boy double watch for me.

Yeah I keep hearing about Nuke Em and another product called Green Clean. I need to pick up some soil to pot up the cuts so I'll see what's on the shelves tomorrow. I don't want to wait to order and have something show up. The Daywreckers were looking sad earlier. I don't know if they had just dried up or if they are getting attacked, the morning will tell.

The Daywreckers did perk up but the other clones in cups are showing signs of stress from either the mites, the strong consisten sprays, or both. The Daywreckers and OGKB 2.0 are looking the worst so far. The others are looking a little better and the Dank Zappa seedlings are looking fine, probably because they were started from seed and don't have any mites on them yet. Forgot to mention it but I ended up chucking the last Sour Kush cutting as it wasn't rooting and went south real quick. If I like it I can always pick it up from Black Dog later though.

On a happier note, has anybody ever seen Flight of the Concords live before? They are playing at Red Rocks tonight and I'll be there to see them.

Somebody recommended using Flying Skull Nuke Em but I don't know how convinced I am that .05% solution of citric acid works. Seems like you can find some cheaper than this product?
