When Low Stress Training becomes medium stress fuck ups, you bust out the twist ties. We've all been there right? This was taken on 6/30 and she's already rocking and rolling again with no problems.

7/6 "Daywrecker" Praying after getting fed and watered. In hindsight, I think that it's the coconut powder doing it. I had @richdeananders on IG yesterday tell me that he calls that a plant boner. I wanted to cite where I heard it from first because I'll have to start using it. Plant Boners ha.

Same "Daywrecker" but from this morning after I pulled the tarp 7/7

And now for the cuts and Dank Zappas. The clones have been showing signs of stress from the strong sprays and/or Russet Mites but they are hanging in there. I took a break from the Essential Oil blend and picked up some Green Cleaner from the store. I think that they liked it and it was nice to switch it up and get something different in rotation. I also potted up the best of the rooted clones and will continue foliars every 3 days. The line up is now "Daywrecker", Sour Dubb, GG4, OGKB 2.0, OGKB 3.0, SFV OG, Chem 91 SkunkVA. I lost the last cut of Sour Kush but we'll cross paths again one day, probably at the Cannagrow Expo at the end of October.

Dank Zappas haven't seemed to mind the consistent sprays and I know that they shouldn't have any Russet Mites on them since they were started from seed and have been receiving IPM sprays every 3 days. They seem to be growing pretty quick too. I'm excited to finally try some Bodhi gear that isn't testers.

Makes sense the animals would love the cover crop, its basically the same plants that are planted in feed plots for deer/elk.

Definitely. I can't even be mad about that one since they did me a favor and didn't touch the BLR one foot away. I don't know if that it was because it was just out of reach or that they somehow knew that that one was not to be touched. Maybe the don't like the smell of the foliar sprays that I do? Who knows but I'm going to keep it up.

won't take much for one them antler,s to get hooked up , take that cage out for a gallop ?

as much as you like the help clearing , maybe string line barded wire fence out from the planter box . keep them well away and the cage as second defence

I'll keep it as is for now. If push comes to shove I'll get some more fencing material and do a second cage around the top that the plant can grow into again for the second layer of support.

Yea a deer came through my garden the other night, hoofprints everywhere, but only ate the cover crop. Whereas last year, they ate my plants (though the plants were young, and no cover crop). I'll always have a cover now!

How's the mite saga coming?

Ahhhh plant a lot of stuff deer might like better.....thats a good idea, you can't blame a deer if you got nothing else to offer. What the hell, I'll go out and feed them myself anything they want, l but leave my leaves alone! OK bud?!

The mite saga has slowed down some. I've been hitting the little ones and the full season plants with sprays of the essential oil blend from Build A Soil but have recently switched to the Green Cleaner which doesn't seem to damage the plants as much as the stronger mix of the oil blend. I'll do another spray on the little ones tonight. I plan to keep this up until several days before the predator mites are scheduled to arrive and then I'll turn them loose and follow up with only sprays with seaweed extract, aloe, coconut water, and yucca as necessary to keep them happy and defenses up. The OGKB 2.0 in the greenhouse are showing burnt/eaten up pistils so I don't know if that's the mites doing their thing. After all, that was the one clone that had that explosion of them on it. I quit spraying the greenhouse plants with sprays as they are around 3 weeks into flowering and I don't want to hit them with much after now. Grasshoppers are fucking rocking and rolling now, holy shit. I bough another bag of the Nolo bait last night and applied the whole bag around the greenhouse and immediate area as well as the full season plants, walkways in between, and any other hotspots where I notice that they congregate. My roommate was telling me he saw several deads ones on and around the tarp when he was pulling it for me the other day when I couldn't be around so hopefully the bait is working from the previous applications. Funny side note, I love going into hydro stores and garden centers and hearing their recommendations on what to use. They don't understand that these grasshoppers probably shoot up neem oil for shits and giggles and then shit it out on my fan leaves and forming colas.

As far as deer go I can't blame them for getting after the clover. That has to be the best stuff around compared to all the other scruffy grasses and whatnot that they are used to eating. Mule deer are dumb as shit though. I don't have any love for them as they seem to be best at jumping in front of cars.

Haha it's us that are jumping in front of them! Really fucking fast, with a massive metal bludgeon, straight through their habitat. Some places have built animal highways, where they can cross grass 'roads' without risk of being killed. Of course it's our habitat, too but it's our decision to move at 50 mph through the world in metal boxes so shouldn't we try to be respectful of other life?

End rant. Lol sorry who dat. I just think it's unfair :)

I hear yah but I just have no sympathy for them. You must not have ever hit one or been in an accident because of one. I just wish they would stay put until the metal bludgeon passes right? Talking like that makes me thing of an episode of Metalacolypse.

Some of the deer around here have gotten smart. You'll see them here in town using the cross walks and looking both ways and then just go and cross with all of the traffic yielding to them.

I have both hit a deer with my vehicle and have been hit by a deer while riding my bicycle. We both walked away from both instances.

You sound like you live in BV or Salida ahhahahhahaha.

That's so rowdy! I used to live there in town and saw Moose pretty often. They would cruise through the neighborhood and through the open space. I can't imagine hitting one though and I can't believe that that was the only damage that happened to that Jeep. That wasn't a full grown one and crazy enough you can see it get up and keep going to the left after being hit. Holy shit. Those things seriously get big though, bigger than large horses.

Damn, no bueno.

moose can be deadly to hit! A car hitting a big moose takes out its legs and then 1000 lbs of moose comes down on the cab of the car. watch out for those big fellas.
