but your coming along you'll get the hang of the new meter in no time and im sure the plats will start to look better soon
Hi, Crazy.imnotcrazy said:Maj Pothead: Where you getting DN for $12 a quart, $20/qt anywhere I go...
Mibri: Others may not agree, but try the GH "Lucas" Formula ( Veg: 0mL grow, 5mL micro, 10mL bloom/gallon and Flower 0mL grow, 8mL micro and 16mL bloom adjust nute strength accordingly for plant needs keeping 2:1 ratio of Bloom Nute:Micro Nute). I never really had problems using it and hardly ever changed rez, Honestly thinking I should have stuck with GH with the problems I created by switch to PBP (If I don't sort it by the time I finish gallon of PBP I'm going back to Lucas). I NEVER adjusted PH just topped off and if you get really comfortable PH drift can clue you to which of the 2 nutes you want to use more of when topping off: one of the reasons I went several months without changing rez.
Hi, Crazy. The plastic is mylar. Just put it there an afternoon, to see how much light it would cast back up. Not worth doing anything about. It's not on there anymore. Just forgot to take off.imnotcrazy said:First, why you have plastic covering the one Widow's pot? You want the rocks to dry somewhat between floods. As for the rainwater, are you collecting runoff from the roof? If so, the water is collecting alot of foreign matter in the process (the "moss" you spoke of) you want to collect the water in fall in a funnel or trough that you keep clean, it'll keep the ppm's and pathogens to a minimum. If the meter you purchased doesn't get "steady" how much is it drifting? Mine will drift 0.01uS/cm during a measurement due to mix being a lil more concentrated in parts. That's why I keep circulating pumps in the rez and do all checks after a flood or after I turn on the pump to get the rez mixed and the meter stays much steadier. Also if the probe's pins are recessed you need to be sure you do not entrap an air bubble in the probe while taking measurements. And don't worry too much about not seeing sativa JH pheno, they sometimes take on a diff look in flower in fact from overfeeding with the PBP, my White Rhino clones looked more like the Blue Mystic clones. They hardly branched and the leaves looked different in shape a bit and darker in color even after fixing the overfert problem.
