it seemed very different state to state and quite patchy the way it has been reported in the UK... with lots of folks following Trump's lead of being quite blase about it.
over here the streets were empty, the whole nation hunkered down, we even stocked up on essential goods. only food shops were open. it was like being in some apocalyptic future.
after 6 weeks they told us all to go back to work using home office where possible and distancing etc. now masks are mandatory in any publicly accessible building. but for the rest people are going about their business again. some times its a bit ironic, in mcdonalds everyone has to wear the mask, until you decide to sit down there and eat, lol. so you have all these maskless people chomping their food 5 meters away from the people at the counter getting take away.
