if they can't get rid of the nazis in Ukraine, let us in on just how they are going to "expel" NATO ? it is not up to Russia to "approve" of other nations defenses against them. ludicrous...they had access to the Black Sea BEFORE they "annexed" the Crimean Peninsula.

There are territorial and historical background for how nations make these decisions.
For example the US does Israel's bidding and interferes mightily with Iran's nuclear science, but mostly ignores North Korea's development and possession of nuclear weapons.
In general Russia has very little problem with Arctic access. So an Arctic country like Finland belonging to NATO could be less of a problem - or perhaps it is Finland-Russia history.
You would need to be a fly on the wall of the Russian government meetings to understand the motivations that are involved.
