Sorry for the double post but this is just killing me.

I don't think you noticed that I know fools are putting together pharmaceuticals with very little talent.

Give them patents... sure go ahead...

Wouldn't be a big deal.

They wouldn't turn right back around and use any extra piles of cash to fund Congress to vote against any real research that may screw them out of a nickel's profit.

"Go ahead and sign right here.... oh sure I think you would probably be able to grow whatever whenever....

I mean it's like whatever you want: "Monsanto isn't the coolest just SIGN SIGN SIGN!!!"

Plant your whole yard full... We may just release a fuckton of patented pollen right next door.

It's so odd... we just acquired that property.

Seems the farmer violated our policy concerning patented GMO....

:chin:

Ever heard of carbon or HEPA filters pal? The rest doesn't warrant an answer... Pssstttt rather GMO from Monsanto than PGRs from some scumbag who has no right to be growing.

Now you're theorizing ways around problems we have yet to enact.

Monsanto is totally against PGRs too..

It is very strange a smart guy like you sees truth as hysteria.

No body even said impaired driving should be allowed ...Please feel free to quote if so???
This law states if you use cannabis you can not drive till it is completely out of your system, very clearly too.

That means waiting weeks or months after consumption before you are able to drive again.
Do you really think someone is impaired 1 week after consumption of cannabis?????

By your response is it safe to assume you approve of laws like this?
It is a fair question ...No?

And you think the people should not even get a say in in the process of making the laws that govern us???
We should just do as we are told like sheeple????

In this country we still have the ability to vote those out of office that seek to create foolish laws.

And I feel we should stand and fight for what we believe is right, or die trying....No?
This is not a dictatorship ...Yet!!!

Stank balls I'm wondering how many times you can say the same thing over and over.... Where ya going with all this??? Done deal pal... Enjoy legal weed...

In WA State they are stomping out the little growers in favor of the state monopoly. We all knew this was going to happen. A friend told me a guy he knows just got a state license for a million bucks. Big warehouse million dollar grows, and eliminate the medical small growers is what legal weed is in WA State.

All the dispensaries are being shut down around me anyways. The war on medical users and small time growers is on again. And doctors can no longer give recommendations as their primary income, so it may be impossible to get a MMJ authorization.

So the word "legal" is a lie, govt takeover and eliminate the competition is the truth.

And they are making it illegal to have more than an oz unless you register with the state, then you can have 3 oz's. MMJ was legal before legalization, now all the medical growers are criminals once again.

Glow does not actually read the thread and do not expect him to watch that very informative video, he just keep pushing his personal agenda for which he stands to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

So now we know you are a supporter of GMO from Monsanto, as you just stated.
And as you stated you do not feel people should have the right to grow their own, and prefer we are forced to buy from Monsanto.
And your posts are clear you do not care if others suffer as long as you get your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
@ Glow
It is also very clear you refuse to comment are important topics that differ from your views.
And seem to be all for a dictatorship style government in a country that you are not even a citizen of.
It seems clear to me you are all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You are just plain wrong!
Most people do not support your style of legalization.
The majority of people say"No way, tax money and GREED will take home growing from us."

Feel free to check to poll

For a smart guy you seem to miss a lot of important relevant issues????

You may just be blinded by the $$$ money$$$ you stand to make on the back of the American people!

Even though every post you make you call me names like a child on the playground, I refuse to play your childish shit slinging game again!
But that seems to be your best counter in this debate.

You can see how the legal growers are doing, at http://www.502data.com. Look at "processor" statistics - growers usually sign up as processors for whatever reason. They're sorted in order of excise tax assessed for the previous month

I have a gram of something labelled "Acapulco Gold" from "Gensys One", a grower down in Clark County, and I was curious to see if they're still in business - you know there are going to be plenty of wash-outs in a scene like this. Still cranking out sales - $7488 in June. That's gross proceeds, paying for supplies, employees if any, taxes. I don't know anyone personally there, but if I hunted them down and drove out to the place, would I be seeing the face of the state monopoly? Looks like a small business from here.

Zion Botanicals in Chelan County looks similar. I have a couple of their offerings, Mandala Satori for one, they do some interesting things. Roughly twice as much sales since last fall, but weaker in June than Gensys One - looks like they may have more of an outdoor grow setup where sales fall off in the spring.

There are lots more with much lighter June sales, I just picked out a couple I know are selling to local retailers right along with the larger operations, like CannaSol whose Durban Poison I enjoyed yesterday, where monthly sales average $116K, which would be enough ... help me out, I'm no business guy, maybe enough to maintain half a dozen employees along with all the other expenses?

I'm not going to get into a fight over the merits of Washington's legalization, but the results are documented, lots of legit tax-paying business with paid employees and the works - retail shops, confectioners, farmers. If smaller growers lose out in competition with bigger ones, it's because customers don't care about the difference. I'm optimistic they will care, not directly but because the small guys will do some things better.

Read it carefully.

"We" means voting citizens.

By the way, that train would do well to stay out of the tunnels it's not sure have an exit.

WA is not typical of states that have legalized. They've somehow managed to put an authoritarian twist on it, largely because of the fact that I502 is a very poorly written instrument. The fact that MMJ dispensaries never had any codified legal status is part of it as well.

The part they're missing, the part that stymies the bullshit, is legalized personal growing. That's huge, well beyond what most people think it to be.

Here in CO there's been some noise about tightening up on caregivers but nobody vaguely compliant with the rules is really getting busted, certainly not like in the days of yore. Some jurisdictions are more hostile, but I see that as fading over time.

Everybody needs to remember that legalization is just a path to normalizing cannabis consumption in this country. It's not the end. It's just the beginning. We also need to avoid being caught in the ruts of our own perspective.

It's a huge opportunity to heal the wounds of one of our greatest & most persistent injustices. So far, it's not perfect- it's just what enough people agree upon to make progress. Elements of insanity will persist for some while.

They still have dry counties, right?

Good question - I think so, but I don't have a good place to go to get up to date information. Benton was my first thought, as while there are several medium size growers, I thought they did have a retail ban or moratorium, but 2015-358 appears to sort of grudgingly open it up, and there is one retailer.

But the retailer is in Prosser, and it looks like retail hasn't been allowed in the Tri-Cities, larger urban area. Nor in other cities in that part of the state, where the much more conservative voters voted against I-502.

Oh, well, alcohol! that stuff is dangerous and unhealthy!

Actually, our "recreational" system is run by the state department that used to sell distilled spirits, a state monopoly at the time. Then big box groceries spent huge money buying that business via voter initiative. Now you can buy booze in drugstores, but in my opinion it was a big step backwards for the consumer. Service, price, selection, everything. They haven't done the same thing with marijuana - production and sales are all private sector - but we know what a state monopoly looks like, we lived with it for generations and it wasn't all bad!

Yeah, they still have dry counties all over the US...
I live in a dry county in my state....

BUT, you cannot make that analogy...
They don't persecute OR prosecute me for driving 80 miles round trip, and possessing and drinking the booze I purchase, in my home...

I was just saying that stupid forms of authoritarian repression endure 80 years after the end of prohibition. Dunno how long it'll be that way over cannabis.

As a society, we're on our way to doing better, but some people will come along only slowly if ever. Sounds like your neck of the woods may be like that.

You missed the whole point of my comment. The little guy as in MMJ medical growers are being driven out of business. I guess you like the idea of no competition it seems. A one ounce limit for a medical grow is not doable. And they are eliminating the doctors who authorize MMJ.

And yes huge thousand light grows with no competition thanks to WA State is a govt monopoly.

Yeah I've heard CO is OK. They kind of combined the MMJ with the recreational which may have worked out. I wish I lived there.

But here in WA we are not so fortunate. I have grown weed for many years. During most of those years I could have gone to jail (growing is a felony). Now once again thanks to legalization if you grow weed you will be a criminal, if the state has it's way. I don't see how that is going to heal any wounds, but the opposite.

So yeah, I wish I could pack up and move to Colorado, you guys have a good state.
