Harvest

Harvest

Well the red snake came down today. A little early but I have some better (bigger) replacements waiting to be flowered. Just handling her a little bit stirs up her scent. It's not soft and sweet anymore but stronger and sticky.

Colombian grown (2,700mts) Red Snake

Colombian grown (2,700mts) Red Snake

Red Snake (Punto Rojo X Oaxaca)

This particular plant was cut a little early but still very aromatic and resinous. I dried a little flower for testing purposes and found it to be amazingly potent. The uncured smell and taste is sharp and spicy causing me to cough and sneeze a little bit. Curing will fix the sharpness but the head is already there and after just a few hits I can feel it. A soaring upsweeping sensation from the Punto Rojo blending with the mood brightening Oaxaca starts after one or two hits.

Day of chop

Then I start to grin and fill with ideas and happy antidotes. Makes my eyes redder than hell but could careless even if I go outside and engage random Colombians. This is so refreshing after all the heavy crippy I had been consuming since I get no nasty half-life from it. The finish is clean and so far only a couple more hits to be high again. I can only see this getting better and more complex with a righteous cure.

Another Latin love affair

Another Latin love affair

As the Red snake plant is finally 100% dry, I am able to confirm what I already knew from earlier samples. I am in love again, this is the type of cannabis flower I like smoking. It is old school all the way from the taste to the lung expansion all the wat through the effect. It is deceptively potent, just a bunch of airy calyxes with very small trichs but I can feel one hit. This is a pure NLD but it has all around qualities that make it good for anytime, day or night. In the morning is of course the best because she stirs your mind and motivates me to get up and get things done. Its rich creativity is accompanied with a warm sense of wellbeing. As the day goes on I can re up a few hours later and feel the motivation kick back in and I’m happy performing mundane tasks even if it involves dealing with other people (the kids). Then in the evening I smoke a bit more and am able to relax and think creatively without the urgent need to act on my ideas. However it is like I say potent so it really makes my eyes red and the muchies are powerful and undeniable. There’s no burn out or sleepiness to the finish and I don’t feel the need to re up right away.

I’m sure that just like a beautiful woman, you might get use to her, however once you’ve had her you will always want her again.

"very small trichs"

Hi red, this is what I remember of the quality Columbians and Mexicans of old. They seemed to have very little resin. I'm jealous.

Red Snake

Colombian outdoor grown Red Snake. I could write a book on this plant. This plant is so deceptively potent, just a few hits and pow! Every time I hit this I love it more.

Destroyer update 1

Destroyer update 1

This is the Destroyer that I didn't know we had samples from. But early yesterday morning Charlie came to my door with a big grin and handed me a flower. It was the Destroyer and right after that I started calling it the teacher plant. Because I smoked way too much not really heeding Charlies warning that it's strong. I lost the entire afternoon yesterday and woke up this morning with a cannabis hangover (had one the other day after testing the Hash Fruit). The Destroyer has a distinct smell and flavor that is delightful but the effect is mind blowing. Consuming too much put me on a trip and lasted much longer than most. The smoke doesn't make me cough so I thought it was going to be mild but the opposite is what happens. Even though there is nothing sleepy or couch locking about it, she is only day time smoke for hardcore smokers. I like it as a nightcap so I can go over the top one last time before drifting into blissful slumber.

I would like to say with all modesty that I am just as jealous of everybody else's beautiful flowers too. I am very fortunate to live here and to have such good friends. My only competitor is myself and there is always more to learn. I want to thank everyone for your advice and warm support.

Destroyer 3

Destroyer 3

Well after extensive testing and consultations with the creator, I've identified the delicious aroma from these Destroyer flowers. Its Colombian, the smell is like coca cola candy mixed with fine incense. It's absolutely delightful but dangerous because of the potency. I've gotten use to it now but the first couple times I almost felt a white out like with edibles. I like it much better now and I can really enjoy the smell and taste. I can only see it improving with time and a cure.

Colombian

I harvest my outdoor grown Colombian in February. This is a one month cure. Taste is not so great yet but the high is so soaring it reminds me of the 70s. Here is a picture of the bud. Outdoor grown in Seattle. It was never a bad winter at all here.

Now that is impressive huligun, you got the skills no doubt my friend. It looks like Colombian too with its golden brown color.
It's good to hear from you and know your growing, I hope all is well with the wife and son.
What strain of Colombian is that and did you start it from seed last spring?

Hola Red

It is USC seeds Colombian Gold. The plant was very large, over 2 meters tall and about two meters wide. Very very branchy. I had sticks all over holding it up from the wind and the rain. I got about a kilo of very good bud, a kilo of under ripe bud and in the end a lot of very stoney hash. This hash is sort of dangerous if you have plans for the day. The high seems to last forever. I had to keep the plant in veg for over a year because I had to find a place to finish it outside. I live in the city and had to find a place that was not so urban.

And the news is I have a new daughter now as well as a son. She was born on February 24.

Thanks to you Red Rider and Siever. The new baby girl has rung bells from Brazil to Canada. I have never seen my mother so happy.

I wish I could take better pictures. I thought I would come to ICmag after a very busy time and and just took picture with my phone of the buds that were in my pocket. Setup is everything. I will try to take better pictures when I get a little more time. The buds really are a lot lighter color than shown in the picture above.

I have a couple kinds of hash, but the hash I make with the dry ice I make two balls bigger than baseballs. I turned all the pre ripe buds into some kind of hash.

I guess I will try to plant some more of the USC Colombian Gold very soon, since it is such good smokes. I only planted two seeds of the batch and one was male. It was quite the experience finishing this one
