Excellent Work Red..!

..but rather than let me Die of Envy ..

Please Consider,

1: Sending a couple of pounds of local seed to Gypsy Nirvana

2: Who can then place it on SeedBay

This offers us (your subs) an opportunity to own these genetics

2: ICMAG make some cash to cover the site bills?

3: Gypsy gets some much needed cash, to get his family to the UK

4: and you may get to buy the locals a Christmas Present with ur 25%

or just a bottle of hooch ..you decide

and thanks for some great pics

Colombian grown Mextiza

Colombian grown Mextiza

Lots going on down here in sunny Colombia. This is breakfast or at least the appetizer, sun ripened Colombian grown Mextiza. Slightly cured this girl smells of exotic perfume and the effect brightens the day like the sun rise.

Beautiful buds and also the finca. I have a question about old 1979 Colombian Gold.

I scored a ounce of it and before it was ripped from me, I examined the buds quite closely. There were seeds but all were tiny and white. This means the buds were picked early I assume?

The high was speedy, too much for my liking really. I think if it was let to ripen it would mellow a bit. I have CBG Mangobiche ready for next grow, this one is all Mexicans.

You said the Mextiza is a day brightener, what strain have you smoked that makes colors seem brighter? I am still looking for a Mexican from back in 1975 that made colors seem fluorescent.

These seeds are available right now. Now you might have to take some risks and spend some cash, but they are available if you are willing to do that which has to be done to attain them.

If you mean available, like cheap and easily available, I guess it depends on how long you live.

From where are they available online?

Please don't tell me that I have to fly to South America to get them.

Sorry about the delay, but yes I'm sure a lot of Colombian back then and even now is cut early. It's not like the growers smoke and care about an effect they don't want, they want money or more likely need money. However unlike the majority of Mexican import I had at the time most Colombian was mature and not nearly as seedy.

The Mextiza is to me like the best Mexican I had in the 70s but with an exaggerated smell and taste. The effect is strong and up positive, intensifying everything. I love it anytime but this is day time weed. However my favorite effect at the moment (I fall in love every harvest) is the red snake. It has the up happy brightness of the Mexican but it has that delightful Colombian under tow that I desire. I mean both the Mexican and the Punto Rojo are spectacular by themselves but blended like the red snake is getting real close to my holy grail. One thing I would like to add is the Mextiza is the fastest flowering plant I've ever grown. She grows big fat (pretty) buds as fast as any WLD and is pure NLD. The red snake takes her time to fully ripen even under the Colombian sun. But for a noticable brightening of color in a Mexican way I would say Mextiza hands down.

Im seeing a finca photo... How goes the hunt?

That is a beautiful Destroyer flower! Yeah we grow Destroyer here and when it was first dry I was smoking it all the time. I love the potency and taste, however I soon realized that it affects my like an indica. So now I only smoke her at the end of the day or when I dont have anything pressing to do. I also found that in large doses it kills pain and muscle soreness.

The finca quest is still on going with hope of having some thing available this year. The smoke is ready now.

Vintage Colombian

Interesting event: Back in 07 I worked very briefly for a Colombian call center. While there I met a few pretty cool young Colombians and I stayed in touch with them over the years. Well one guy named Jeff, he and I smoked together several times and in 2010 I visited him and he had scored some land race buds from a cousin of his that grows in the Santa Marta. It was really nice, not compressed or bricked like the regs or even most Corinto. Not gold in color, just kind of a dark brown and lightly seeded. Has the smell and taste I remember from the 70s, although not nearly as potent. A very nice effect none the less and the best non crippy I have seen since 2011. So I saw Jeff for a coffee last week first time I saw him since 2010. Anyway he still had some of the SM Colombian and wanted me to have the seeds because he knows I grow. Believe it or not this 6 year old bud still has a kick, in fact it seems no different than it did 6 years ago.

I was very happy to receive this sample. The effect is there but has degraded I am sure. However at this point I dont need anything to smoke as I've more than I could ever want. It's the seeds I want and not for myself but for my buddy to work with hopefully in the near future he will. However these things take forever to grow much less breed but we have a good start.

Here are a few more pictures, I figured I better take a few more pictures before it was gone. Not a lot of seeds really, I will take some photos of the when I get them all collected. The smell is faint and musky but not rotting or fermented at all. The smoke is smooth but still expands in the lungs and the musky taste on exhale. For being as old as it is she still smokes good. The effect comes on slow and builds after 15 minutes into a warming happy feeling. It's not too strong or overwhelming but nice and balanced with a very clean finish. Like i said it is not very potent to me but I have been smoking some really heavy Destroyer so my tolerance must be off the chart. Whatever this is it represents it's self to me as a vintage Colombian, not the best but authentic none the less.

Bloody hell, I knew it had been awhile since I'd popped in here but didn't think so long. What a good show though I'm still playing catch up.

That's wild Charlie dropped in. Mextiza is beauty smoke, that looks better than a lot of what I've seen.

Congrats on all the awesome ;) Good to hear the finca is coming together and that you're pushing out some lovely NLD.
