Back in the saddle

Back in the saddle

Yes my finca dream is alive and well, Sforza love your finca man. Looks a little dry for my old bones but a paradise none the less, congratulations my friend.

Charlie and I had a great time and he really helps me with my garden. I am learning so much I have to write things down to put it all into perspective. Long flowering NLD is of course what i'm really interested in growing but i have a few WLD strains around now that I learned how to veg them before flower. Here's a few snaps from a week or so ago.

Colombian grown TASKENTI

Colombian grown TASKENTI

Here is some bubble hash my Colombian grower friend made from some beautiful TASKENTI flowers he grew here (indoors). It is very strong, so much so the grower rarely smokes it, but I love it and smoke it every chance I get.

attachment.php

The taste is incredible like the best imported hashish I had in the early 80s. The smoke expands a little but not bad and it only takes one or two hits to get what you need. The first 30 minutes (onset is quick) are absolutely euphoric and intensely pleasurable, your mood changes and nothing is upsetting. But after thirty minutes most people get sleepy (not tired).

attachment.php

I really don't get sleepy from it, just stoned and super hungry. My Colombian friend grows every strain I can think of but the one I always look for is the TASKENTI be it the hash or the flowers. I am not a big fan of WLD strains but this one I do like because the effect is so clean.

Here's some flowers I got laying around here. The hybrid will finish first and then some pure Colombians. It takes a long time (comparably) but for some it's worth the wait.

Yes my finca dream is alive and well, Sforza love your finca man. Looks a little dry for my old bones but a paradise none the less, congratulations my friend.

Glad to learn that you are still working on getting your finca, Red. You'll succeed at last. Spending time with Charley has to be a great experience and can only help your growing skills and forward the finca project. Hooking up with him was either a brilliant strategic move or a most fortunate stroke of serendipity.

I got me some old bones too, bra, but it is the cold and damp that is supposed to be bad for the bones and joints. Warm and dry is good for the old bones and joints. According to my wife, the dry air is hell on hair and skin, but us guys don't have much hair at this point and leathery skin is considered ruggedly handsome, so no worries.

My finca is 40 acres, but it is just for the wife and I. It is a lot of work to try to get it fixed up to the point where we want it, not to mention expensive.

I love reading your thread, since not only do I get to see some great pictures of some fine ganja, but it also brings back memories of my travels to and around Colombia. Thinking of Santa Marta, the mountains surrounding Rodadero, Taganga, and Santa Marta looked pretty similar to the picture of the canyon wall with cactus, even though it is a different species of cactus that grows on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

This is a stock photo taken near Taganga:

Legal

Legal

Are you growing that plant in jail?

That was funny but no in Bogota Colombia we have bars on the windows of the houses. There are over 250,000 displaced desperate people in this city. However the plant it self is 100% legal to grow and posses here. And no we can grow as many as we want. How free are you?

Great too see your garden back in action, it's been awhile

I'm very happy to know about the legalization . I'm also very hopful you get your finca up and running

I hope you plan on growing some monsters on the patio why not make raised beds ?

Is that Punto rojo Charlie Garcia new or old punto Rojo line ?

Do you have any old punto rojo seed from the local bud ?

Best wishes

Hello bigherb, it is always good to hear from you.
That Punto Rojo is from Charlies new line, as you know he vacations here with me in Colombia now. So I've got all kinds of great strains to grow and sample. Unfortunately I have no Punto Rojo seeds nor have I seen the bud here in Bogota for many years. On rare occasions we have been able to locate what is called regular but it's changed and most likely a hybrid of some sort. However the Punto Rojo I have is authentic and I'll get a full report this summer when it's finished. The good news is I've just received a report from Santa Marta and there's gold there.

As far as the finca we are indeed getting closer to buying one and you bet the finca is going to have legal monster land race Colombians growing and available to my guests. It really takes time to organize the perfect finca and I want it right. I can't get into speculation but on the finca I hope to offer a fusion of exotic Colombian tropical lushness with Eastern philosophy and healing therapy and of course the finest cannabis we can grow.

Mangobiche

It is kind of funny but I never heard of Colombian Mangobiche before 2011 but it is indeed a top notch Colombian strain. I tried it last year and had to grow it. Here's my Mangobiche just starting to flower.

Damn red, I keep having to log on every time you post pictures, lol (not complaining). Good to see those narrow leafs being grown in an environment close to home. Imagine what they’d be like in the ground. Are you doing some early PR work for your finca?

Hi, and yes the Punto Rojo, SMG, Mangobiche and a few stray Colombians as well as others will indeed be not only growing but also cured and offered to all the guests. That's part of the therapy, the old school Colombian grown right. I can't wait to put them in the ground!

Sunny January

Sunny January

January is the best time of year to flower here but any time will do as there is no winter. From December to sometimes as late as March we have crystal clear days filled with intense sunshine. Still fighting the spider mites that came from some clones but the flowers are developing nicely.

Hi, now in Colombia you can grow until 20 plants without any legal issues.

Self-cultivation: activity giving rise to a plurality of cannabis plants in number not exceeding twenty (20) units, which can be extracted narcotics or psychotropic substances and which are intended solely for personal use, for Cultivation which no license is required.

Yo Red, if you want to impress your local dispensaries come to the states for a week and get the good clone only staples of the west coast dispensary scene.

Dispensaries here are not selling product grown from seed.
Medical patients need reproducible results that are not possible growing from seed.
get your clones on the west coast if possible.

Your competition is going to be selling seed selections, get the clones in USA and you will be waaaaaay ahead of the game.

The best shit get everywhere eventually but you could start with it from the beginning with the stuff that everybody is reading about on the internet.
You want to grow OG Kush, Jack Herer, Sour Diesel, Girl Scout Cookies, Gorilla Glue #4, Pineapple Express, Trainwreck, ChemDog.
The real medicinal strength cannabis.

You got plenty of friends who are medical patients in states where all this is available.

I had a job where I used to travel in and out of your country and I always had personal amounts of cali dispensary weed in one of these TB holders.
they will also allow rooted cuts to "fly the friendly skys" with your other toiletries.
just vac seal it with no vac first so it is leak and smell proof.
I put plenty of electric and metals things in my travel toiletry kit bag like electric shaver and trimmer and a set of keys and lots of loose change.
give the person working the scanner to look at that they recognize and will get their attention.
small camera, iPod, GPS, etc.
the time it takes for their brain to see that shit and rule it out and your tiny bit of
contraband has slipped through undetected while they were focused on your dildo with anal probe...

View Image

Or you can express mail it home from the states.
Humans have discovered what the best medical MMJ is at this point and it's all over the west coast.

Columbians are like the rest of us and once they taste it they will want OG and Cookies!!!
