That Punto Rojo looks similar to Ace's Purple Haze.
Very nice pictures btw.
How long did the Mango Biche take to get where it's at in the picture?

Siever

Am afraid have not counted, but for the dates must be near 14 weeks. They last bit long to change to flowering mode.

ThaiBliss, few showed some raquitism at first steps and made everything slow til now, but is fine, leaves dont drop and some purple in stems

That Punto Rojo looks similar to Ace's Purple Haze.

SamS quote:
The very first original Haze was a late 60's three way cross of Colombian Punto Rojo, a green one, and a light magenta one, all different, all from Columbia,

Skunk #1 - (Colombian Gold / Afghanistan x Acapuclo Gold)

One selection pheno-type of SamS - Haze x Skunk in early vegetation is clearly Colombian dominate. SamS Haze x Skunk is growing alongside Punto Rojo and (Punto Rojo x Destroyer / Highland Guerrero/Blueberry). We shall see.

For fun, I'm in the process of making - 2016 Haze x Skunk.

[CBG Punto Rojo x (USC Colombian Gold / 1973 Highland Guerrero x Blueberry)] and,

[CBG Punto Rojo x (Destroyer x Highland Guerrero / Blueberry)]

In both crosses, Blueberry provides Afghani genetics which DJ Short crossed to Highland Thai and Highland Oaxacan genetics.

Cannabiogen's Punto Rojo - purple pheno-type is the fastest flowering pheno-type. USC's (Colombian Gold / Jamacian Lambsbread) x (Colombian Gold) is the longest flowering.

Hi guys
A quick and last update, must leave for few weeks
Norther line in first pictures, hope lil nanner doesnt go further.
And last pic, one of best yielders and strongly structured Mangobiche expelling now a sweeter and denser mango scent, guess more myrcene perception in the terpenes blend, lovely on other hand

Update 1 2016

Update 1 2016

Happy New Year to everyone!

Ok well my good friend Kaiki just returned home after a nice visit. We sampled Bogota's finest flowers and drank a lot of coffee. However with all due respect for my Colombian hosts I was disappointed with the flowers we tried. The crippy is everywhere and what surprised me was even the growers here smoke it. The young guys in the canna culture here are into hybrid hype crap (which is tasty and potent). They only vaguely know about the fantastic vintage Colombian strains. Now I have one Colombian grower friend Rick and he grows indoor and he has some very nice flowers and concentrates but he doesn't grow any pure Colombians. After talking and smoking with the new canna culture in Bogota I have come to this conclusion about the pure Colombian cannabis. It is indeed still growing here (I have some mangobichas, punto rojo and SMG growing now) but it is not the same as it was. The smell and taste as well as the potency has diminished and my theory is that it hasn't been selected the way it was in the past. Cannabis is a drug crop here and the crippy is simply more profitable. Some people are still growing the origanal strains here but they aren't selecting the plants we desire.
Anyway we had a great time with Kaiki and I'm really trying to get him to come back to check out a little more of Colombia.
The finca, as with many other dreams I have, it takes a lot more to get a perfect finca here than just having the money to buy one. The fact is we are still looking and really haven't found the one yet.

I'll get some plant pictures up and give some more details but here are some random pictures in the mean time.

I loved my Colombian breakfasts of pan (bread or rolls such as the ones in your picture) and cafe con leche, which is about half Colombian coffee and half hot milk. It sure hit the spot after waking and baking with a mini spliff of Santa Marta Gold.

Good things usually do not come easy, Red, but if you persist and work hard, you can get it if you really want it. But you must try. Try and Try. You'll succeed at last. Once you succeed, the harder they come the harder they will fall, one and all.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the effect . Lovely stuff , thanks to everyone who played their part in this creation.

Really? Excellent spelling and grammar for someone who has just vaped that material! You must have quite the resistance.

Wow. Those plants are impressive, kaiki! I'm hopefully going to pop and grow some of my Ace/Cannabiogen stock this year. Still working on my soil, but I'm hoping to get some punto rojo and punta rosa seeds into the ground. I've had them in storage long enough.

Satva, best of luck on your projects! Your plants look awesome.

Happy New Year everyone! Best of luck finding your finca, red!

HB.
