Vintage Colombian

nice pics Charlie. how's the smell on these?

Herbs and flowers, with some bottom aroma not defined by me yet. Not intense unless you get closer. In 5 years growing different colombians I found several different expressions. When started thought about a red maze more than other thing

Enjoy crop iTarzan
I wished I could hurry up mines :moon:

Second colombian line makes it bit faster. Darker green and leafier, they start to build up some nice colas :)

Beautiful Colombians Charlie, thanks for the update. Are the leafy Colombians from the Santa Marta? The leafs look like my SMG from 05.

Hi

In few days, medical marihuana will be legal and regulated in Colombia, great news!

Mangobiche (second line) starts to bring the acidic citric aromas at this stage, and a Punto Rojo female, much more discret in aromas intensity, enjoying the indian summer in the pictures

Out of 3 different lines, in all of them some individuals showed purple calyxes due colder temps

kaiki, in your first three photographs, is Punto Rojo the third photo -the longer cola with the lighter green leaves curling downward and showing red stems on the leaves? That hazy girl is beautiful.

Congratulations to Colombia for legalizing medical marihuana!
BG Punto Rojo - three pheno-types all lightly seeded

Punto Rojo -1 longest flowering, dark green leafy, long calyxes along the branches, vigorous growth, mostly white pistils

Punto Rojo -2 earliest flowering, small flowers with purple calyxes

Punto Rojo - 2 pistils mostly orange, trichomes clear, getting close to harvest.

Punto Rojo -3 sweet tropical fruit, medium flowering duration, white and orange pistils

Male, flowering, so far stable sex.

Spectacular flowers! Well I don't have any pictures yet or even any flowering plants but I have some exciting young plants started. Some of my purple Corinto, Red Snake clones and a few exotic (for Colombia) hybrids. I had two purple Corinto flowering but my ex landlord wanted to grow them so the wife left them when we moved. However I hope to have at least one plant flowering next month when we have the best weather and intense sunshine.

That Punto Rojo looks similar to Ace's Purple Haze.
Very nice pictures btw.
How long did the Mango Biche take to get where it's at in the picture?

This looks pretty healthy and wonderful to me:

The leaves are still all attached, and the buds are filled out nicely. I think this is one of the most beautiful bud shots I've seen in a while.

When I was smoking in the 60s and 70s, I almost never saw green colored buds. Some looked fermented, compressed, and fused, but lots of buds looked in very good shape, and still rarely green.

I hope it turns out as well as it looks to me.

Best,

ThaiBliss

Yes I am so happy to finally get some plants growing. It is eternal spring here in fact winter is historically when we have the best weather. It's also when the entire country goes on holiday, from December 7 until February it is a big fiesta in Colombia. Oh boy!
I love the thin gold leaves on the SMG, beautiful picture Kaiki.
