Nice and relaxing views :)

Here an example of how some landrace colombian lines males change of sex as they get older and show more and more the female side.

My hat is off to you Charlie. Breeding takes lots of work and incredible patience. I'm finding that out trying to make decent seeds and preserve the Jamaican line I was gifted. I've been growing only one or two at a time and they don't show their true gender expressions for almost a half year. I need more grow area! I've never grown more pure sativa strains in my life than I have in the last few years. It is just too hard to find the effects I want in those NLD x WLD crosses. The effects I want only seem to express themselves in about 5% or less of plants from crossing these types. I let the few really potent ones I had found slip through my fingers, not knowing how rare they are and how under appreciated they are. Now I have to learn a whole new type of growing to get back to something like that.

Although we can be fooled by the names, areas or history, I guess is best smokes what we all look for, so trying to fill my curiosity with some of classics still alive there in different areas to see what can I find. Same curiosity as usual
Anyway, there were much faster Punto Rojos in the past I remember and grew myself but it doesnt seem this case unfortunatelly.

The ultimate appreciation

The ultimate appreciation

I get so excited every time we start talking about all these genetics I’m finally going to be able to grow here. To me this is not like a fantasy it is a fantasy, to be able to grow in Colombia and legally at that.

attachment.php

These are not my picture, just ideas

Now we not only do we have the genetics and the ultimate environment but I’ve got whom I consider to be the best breeder/grower here in Colombia!

attachment.php

Charlie knows exactly what he likes and how to grow and select it, he only considers plants that have the finest effects expressed in a high that we all desire. He also shares my passion for the vintage Colombian cannabis as well as the beautiful country and her friendly people. So now what to grow? I’m afraid to ask Charlie this question because there’s so many possibilities. Of course I want to restore the pure Colombian lines but there are many others that I want to grow here and see how they respond to the climate.

attachment.php

And in all honesty I like a variety of up, potent, clean, clear strains that are rare here. And I’m not just a sativa guy, I like Indica and hybrids of high quality as well and I think with Charlie’s guidance we can grow some full sized Indica here. One I’m particularly interested in (I don’t know if this is for sale) is the CBG hash fruit. Charlie said it was an Indica but that he liked it. So that translates to I will love it if he likes it so I hope to have some hash fruit somewhere in the garden soon. Next month looks to be very exciting for us indeed. All possible because of Charlie, I can never thank him enough.

I think I can predict with relative certainty that Colombian cannabis is coming back (just in time) better than we could ever imagine.

Valla! Valla! Que hermosura Colombia:tiphat:

Great news that you are continuing the work with Colombians.

I remember years back when we only had five seeds of Colombian Red to work with. And, look at us now having access to great Colombian Stock. Thank you for your work and generous ways. Estoy agradecido hermano:tiphat:.

Of course, one has to work them to find the ones desired. I found one Colombian Mangobiches purple line. Much to my surprise, I found a nice shorter flower Colombian Black male as a breeder.

I wish for you joy and good health:tiphat:

As far as energies let me do what I still want to do not problems Huesos. Wished more than 20 plants there but still much better then here so far. Cuidate hermano

Not am not and not interest ;) Much to do yet flaco Raco, not time for everything, besote

You are the host RR but I guess your menu should go with the season products. As I dont smoke indicas, am sorry man, my suggested menus would have mostly NLD instead :)

Golden slumbers

Golden slumbers

Twenty here twenty there twenty somewhere else, I don’t think numbers will be a problem. But no for Charlie I’m growing your first offering now with two very sexy long thin leafed Colombian gals from down Corinto way. They are from some very potent purple Corinto buds I obtained last year from George. The buds were only lightly seeded and not a black purple color but more of a blueish, compressed but not fermented. It had a good fresh smell and the taste was earthy hashish with a slight expansion. But the effect was what made it special to me, instant mood changing with a smile. Not super potent a few hits can be enjoyed without a debilitating effect but a gradual uplifting to a peak. Richly euphoric from the onset but builds into an energetic plane where everything seems doable with a positive outlook. It’s a great feeling and continues until you succumb to the munchies and then it diminishes. The finish is a bit sleepy but not dirty or negative in anyway.

So we will start with these fine Corinto and go from there, let’s face it we can grow anything any time (or even everything all the time). I hope to always have some never finished flowering NLD growing and cured for all to enjoy.

Here is the latest batch I've obtained from my newish friends. It has no name but it's just another variety of crippy. I can't complain but I will because I know I can grow some thing much better than this but I will still smoke it. This batch really reminds me of some of the better mids I was getting in NE GA. in the nineties.

attachment.php

Not much smell or taste but strong and strong is not always good (although good is always strong). Unlike the batch before this lacks the "shock and awe" effect but still delivers a serious kick. It is very euphoric with a bread & butter blandness that leaves no motivation what so ever.

attachment.php

It is obvious that this is weed for party people that need something strong to help them come down a bit, it's not good for work a day smoke. But this is Colombian (grown) and it's what I've got at the moment so we are happy.

attachment.php

The hashish, well that's a different story

Looks nice RedRider!

I've enjoyed reading your thread and learning about the different types of Colombian marijuana.

Maybe one day I'll make it down there. I have relatives in Peru I haven't seen in a while so perhaps someday I could visit them and make a stop in Colombia too.

I love some good sativas!

I just harvest my outdoor crop in cold wet Seattle. Not very impressive to look at but good weed. Some ******s Kollosus, and some permafrost. The permafrost was complete and finished but the kollosus needed two more weeks. The heavy rains have started so they had to come down. I still have a huge bushy Colombian outside. It is two meters high and two meters wide. I will keep it outside as long as I can. When there is risk of freezing I will put it in the garage with lights.

Nice to see everyone here. Que Tal Raco y Charlie.
