Its been a great product both tek 4000 and tronic in my situation,excellent for sealed flower rooms and cure rooms.Its true about the classic noodle too its the only one to use.

hi guys
i just order the vaportek 4000 now i live in a town house will it remove all smell so my neighbors wont smell it and does it remove the smell or mask it i cant figure that out and there is no need for carbon filters either??

What size is your grow room because that thing is a beast so you should be fine? Did you get neutral because it is the only one that neutralizes the air. The others from what I heard just masks the odor.

Hello everyone, I just recieved my Optimum 4000 today and I want to build an air lock like Rez's. I understand what it should look like but I dont understand how to seal the black visquine but still be able to go in and out with relative ease. Now maybe i am wrong and it doesnt have to be completely sealed but to me the work air lock means a sealed area. Thanks for your help.

i got my optimum 4000 going finally, after first getting the wrong cartridge shipped to me. i ordered from somewhere else and got the right one and quicker...

i got 5400w in a sealed room. the room is in my shop. i started the 4000 on #4. the next morning i could smell the flowers a bit so i put it up to 5. at 5 i can smell the "nuetral" odor even in my neighbour's yard 60 feet from the shop! so i put at 4 1/2. now sometimes i smell "nuetral" and sometimes i smell cannabis.

i am not satisfied....

AIRLOCK ROOM!! after reading this thread for the umpteenth time i finally picked up on the airlock idea.

i put the vaportek in my entrance room set on 5.




its not exaclty sealed from the rest of the growroom, but...
so far it seems to be working better than before

Do you have enough air movement to spread the Vaportec oils throughout the area? I noticed with mine, with no fan there were areas a bit away that didn't get covered. With a cheap small 5 inch oscillating fan there is no smell.

when it was in the room itself, there are plenty of fans. now in the entrance room it seems to work better, but still not perfect

You can shop around a bit - but yes even discounted they are a bit pricey. I've had one a couple years + now, works great, does the job, I never worry about odors. But from the feedback here, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Why I don't understand... Best of luck. -MGJ

a few days ago I read carefully that thread, today I'm another happy user of Vaportek products
However, the essential of vaportek's good work is cartridge with oils. You really no need to buy optimum and spend a lot of money. Optimum or Restorator, great devices, are only a plastic cases with AC fan inside (optimum has simple speed controller also). In Poland, fan and controller costs about 25$.

so i guess i'm safe in guessing i'll be ok for my first grow, 12 cubic ft w/ 4 plants or so...with 1 vaportek 4000 in grow box OR directly outside next to exhaust, 1 vaportronic small plug in unit not too far from room in basement, and maybe an ONA brick...?
really don't want a loud carbon scrubber, it's kinda a stealth setup...

Get you self some essential oils and a small fan $10 works just as well and there are so many scents to choose from. The neutral smell had to be the worst smell ever. It was like an old lady that had not washed off her perfume for weeks.

I find classic noodle to be the only one that really masks the erb smell with a bubblegum smell.I've used it a couple years now and am happy,its not for everyone.If I had people in and out of my house I'd use activated carbon.If you dont mind a mild bubblegum scent inside and no smell outside,its for you.

i'm about ready to order my VT and not sure to get neutral or scented cartridges...they also make fesh linen ones too, which would be nice if it gave off a nice clean clothes smell....

Noodle is electricianspeak for neutral.I would extremely strongly recommend classic neutral for your future endeavors.Many of us have tried a few and pretty much agree
