Where was this skunk 18.5, it's described by ed Rosenthal in big book of buds but where else? It would of been a selected skunk 1.... Nev said the lineage of ML where ed said it was used was bollocks.

The old clone I have represents the Afghan leaning sativa side. Fast & smelly like the Ghani Sam said was used that made the stink or roadkill.
He says a lot in the Ancestral skunk thread on how frequent things poped up in an acre & what he threw away out that acre. The Skunks I see in this seed lot are Sensi Skunk & Pure type plants with many pistils from single whorles. He said that line was about potency & not Smell/taste. I'll let you all read it if you already havent & not copy paste..
The skunk I have is low in pistillatte formation it starts off looking Columbian & starts the ghani phase around week 4 bloom. Sam says after it was bred sweet rouge inderviduals did pop up in large grows but for the most part it was very consistent. I see 'Cheese' coming from an OP that was with may phenotypes & flowertimes that subsiquently in later years was selected towards for specific purposes @ other stages producing the Duych bred lines.. If cheese came from these early grows it was likely during/before a phono/genotype selection phase when it was bottlenecked for indoor production. Or the lights removed part of the spectrum & changes happened.
Sam talks of his testing of terpenes & say's a lot about what effects the expression & that is isn't synthesis.
Likely it is that there was a single phenotype of a female that was responsible for the expressions seen. We're looking for that mother & her progeny.

Afghani T x Skunk 18.5 = Super Skunk
Its still just a male skunk 1, the name 18.5 came from someone at sensi and given to Ed . Same as DPs Ultra skunk...
I believe the 18.5 was a backcross of a Afghan dominant skunk#1...so a little more than just a skunk#1??
do any of you guys think flavours blend better on full sib than outcrosses? ...it seems almost like food where the more time you cook it the better it tastes. flavours seem to blend better

Wheres that stated? Nev always said he did AfgT and AfgS x SK, the SK being male. I've seen it stated that the 18.5 was a skunk backcross but only by a poster... I think the line was called skunk 18.5F3a ? I can't recall where it was posted!

Depends on the food Rick. I like long & slow grub. Especially if you let it go cold & re-heat it.

Is skunk 18.5 the very same skunk 18.2 that was rescued from the skip by SamS? According to SamS the 18.2 was a sk#1 x Afghani bx1
I think what were looking for is the initial A Gold x with the Mazar from Sandy Weinstein's pictures in the Skunk thread.
That A gold was the hybrid used in the cross supposedly & it has the cheese phenotype what is what we're proimarily looking for. The real F1's .

Well he took it to Holland so it would of been there. It would indicate to myself anyhow that Maple leaf wilson line was very important in modern day hybrids. (In shiva too?)
