That's one of the lower leafs, I picked it of the soil where it recycles nutrient through the soil food web. That skunk is famous for the lowers dropping, it's natural & it's not malnourished it's past that & almost necrotic.

Gaseous exchange also happens though lenticels. The stem is the first part of the plant to use photosynthesis in both Eipgeal & Hypogeal..

I'd rather be right, than 1/2 right Cheesegez.

Growing depauperate is not going to impress nobody.

I don't log on to ICMag as often as I used to, though I still try to at least a couple times a week. This thread is one of the threads that I make sure to check out each time I do. Yes the cut is something that has interested me for years. Not from the time I became aware of it all those years ago but more because of some of the descriptions from posts in this thread. I later came to really enjoy the way you English cats, for the most part, seem to be able to disagree while still maintaining a respect of sorts for each other. You guys don't sugar coat stuff but the way you say and handle what is said has impressed me from the beginning.

I've been in a rut of sorts. For a while now actually. Growers depression if you will. unmotivated. Anyhow.... not long ago a regular poster on this thread reached out, not knowing of this mode I've been in, and made something happen with the help of a freind that has seemingly change my attitude.

I find myself excited to wake up and greet the girls each morning for the last week like I haven't in a long while. Like a new grower. Curious to see what they're about.

I'd like to thank you all but especially those two. I appreciate you guys more than I'm sure you know.

Mate Dave- your behavior.... it's foul bro. It's ugly. It's a discredit to what I've come to believe about the people in this thread. I'm not the man I was even just 5 years ago.If I was, I'd be ending this post very differently but I'm too tired and too old. Perhaps even a little wiser. So I'll just wish you a merry Christmas and walk away shaking my fuckin head.

Glad things worked out RL! Yeah definitely a thread I try and monitor frequently. Took a liking to the britbros and their search for their holy grail.
@ Dave... cool story bro. EVERYBODY here knows you have the biggest pee pee on the internet and only YOU have the proper cheese. As a matter of fact, most here even say that YOU created cheese out of a brick of clowntown brown seeds. So to be quite honest with you sweetheart, i think it may serve you best to jog on to the other reaches of the internet and inform them how truly amazing you are. Your work here is done

RL it happens to the best of us , what you described happened to me after I had a stroke, lost all desire to grow and forgot a lot of what I knew, with the help of a few friends Ive bounced back and am enjoying life and growing once again, all this arguing is highly amusing I must say, DOES IT REALLY MATTER

1/2 right and not wrong ?? because you just altered the equation , Wtf do lenticels have to do with photosynthesis

The 'Petioles' are a stalk that froms on axis along the 'peduncle' adjoining with the 'Rachis' which forms the base structure for the leaf which primary objective is to harness light photons & fix inorganic carbon by taking carbon dioxide from the air and transforming it into sugars that are the basis for photosynthesis that drives ATP & plant growth
.

You was simply referring to the Petioles and the leaf which have no lenticles it’s the main stem (periderm) where petioles are found .. also carbon dioxide intake into the lenticels is not important, as the photosynthesis is not carried out on the stem , you was referring to photosynthesis in the leaf why your waffling on about the stems for I have no clue ??. The lenticels allow the interchange of gases between the metabolically active interior tissue and the surrounding air or pockets of air in the soil and do not impact photosynthesis ...Dave put down your GCSE biology books and go get some pussy , honestly your biblical biology lessons are so flawed...

Photic cells that respond to stimuli in the stem make the plant viable Cheesgez.. From then on it develops many specialist cell functions as you mention primarily to drive phototaxis. One of these specialist cells is the Glandular leaf in Skunk.

The Darwins discovered these photic cells using tinfoil hats..

Gotta love a thriving cheese thread.

Personally I'm kind of glad there's still a bit of mystery to the whole cheesy legend, it makes for interesting reading plus does tend to bring the UK members together. From the version I've tried it isn't my cup of tea but in some cases that isn't the point; love checking the thread if only to read the tangents of discussions and see which direction the whole cheese story is going. Kinda fascinating that there's such a deep interest for the cut(s). I think us Brits are showing our national character a bit with our obsession over heritage and preserving every scrap of information that's of historical interest. :D Long may it continue.

Got no problem with lively discussion and a bit of to and fro.. There's always going to be one person who thinks they've got more experience, better skills, the best cut blah blah blah. It's ok for a time but after a while it starts wear everyone down a bit. On that point I hope the person in question takes note and tones down his shit. Don't fuck up everyone else's enjoyment and try to make yourself look big; definitely not a good character trait to display unchecked.

So another new year approaches.. May those who enjoy the cheesy tones be blessed with stinking harvests :D

How old is the cut(s) now?

What is a fatwa?

The book that got me started was under Hassle Free Press way before Sunlight Systems & well before HPS. It's called. A guide to growing marijuana in the British Isles & other cool climates.

There are loads of great journals done for PHD like Marijuana Botany. Way too many to list but this was the most helpfull for me amongst many others. The Vintage Cannabis thread has invaluable information, proper thesis study of cannabis .

Islam... Is she..

Sam said when he seen/smelled the cheese clone it smelled/looked like a pure skunk to him. He didn't say Skunk number one @ the time.

There was Skunk & Skunk. Labled #1 through to 12 maybe more. A Skunk 18.5 & a story of a 12.5 I think I can remember being brought up by the Skunkman. I don't think it's a Skunk #1. I think it's likely pre Amsterdam. Pre sweet & pre Sensi. Maybe a Seed Bank pre 90's or even perhaps a Skunk 2 phenotype from Sunlight systems or a long lost SSSC line from Cees.

However it arouse whatever it is, it's traits match the cultivators choice description very accurately..

We would see the Phenotype that was present in their photo if it was Sensi.
