One judge dismissed a lawsuit trying to keep Donald Trump off the presidential ballot because of the legal issue of standing. John Anthony Castro thinks he has a way around that.

Well as I understood it from a report I heard it's all being pushed by one guy, a republican, who wants to run for President and he's trying to make it impossible for Trump to win presumably so the RNC doesn't nominate someone who can't win the electoral college vote.

Another interesting story I heard recently is how the rest of the RNC is adopting Trump's "Grift the small time doners 'til it hurts" method of campaign fund raising. In fact in the story I heard, they copied Trump so well that at least one elderly woman on Social Security as her only source of income, actually thought she was donating to Trump. Then she found out a month later that they used Trump's trick of where the online donation form, by default is set to repeat the donation monthly with an automatic deduction from the doner's bank account. Unless the doner reads the fine print and unchecks the tiny box authorizing the monthly deduction. The woman discovered what happened when she went to spend some of her money and found that it was gone. So she looked into it even further only to discover that the candidate the money was going to wasn't even someone she recognized.
One would think that between this sort of think, The Republican's continued efforts to shut down the government by not approving even a short term continuing resolution, their wasted efforts on things like Hunter Biden's laptop or impeaching Joe Biden simply because they don't like him. That the Republican party is trying to do everything they can to permanently destroy any hopes of Republicans regaining control anytime into the foreseeable future.

well many of them are doing the next best thing by trying to be removed from the case altogether by saying that they only did what they did because Trump told them to which is a tactic that would only work for Meadows and even in his case it doesn't appear to be working. Why should the government make deals when they're already trying to put all the blame on Trump?
