Tell me you're terrified of going to prison without telling me you're terrified of going to prison.
he's gonna try to run for it, hide and watch! if i was in the Justice Dept, i'd be watching his bank accounts etc VERY carefully. he'll try to move his ill-gotten gains right before he "borrows" a friends jet to go to a golf tournament or something... OR...since he's not spending HIS money on lawyers, he may already have enough squirreled away in Moscow or someplace to last him. he better have a suite on the ground floor if he's going to Russia...:D

I just have to ask…

Would America really better off if all the republicans quit and gave their positions to democrats?

I cannot understand why anyone with sense would cheerlead for either of the political parties in America. They’re both corrupt to the core. Their function is to deliver wealth from middle and lower classes to the corporations funding all these campaigns.

nope. but we would ALL be better off if the MAGA rats died from lack of vaccines, and the party returned to its former goals instead of trying to stop folks from voting, wanting to coronate El Chumpo as king, and turn America into Viktor Orbans vision of a "utopia"... nobody wants the Democrats to rule, we just recognize that the GOP (The Chump Wing) is dragging the nation over a cliff...it really is that simple.

Wishing 20,000,000-40,000,000? People would just go away isn’t a realistic strategy.

Our whole country is fucked until someone figures out a way to get millions of people off of hanging on every word of an old game show host with 500 felonies.

The guy that’s supposed to be saving us from trump shits himself and falls over all the time.

There are probably 10-20 dems that would blow trump out of the water. But instead they put out a shitty candidate and prosecute trump for anything they can get by a grand jury. The optics are horrible. But, it’s hard to get an old white guy to give up his job.

there's nowhere near that many hard-core "gonna go to war for The Chump" imbeciles out there. many (most) of them are all mouth, no teeth just like he is. or as they say in Texas "all hat, no cattle" types that replaced the hay bales in the bed of their trucks with Confederate battle flags to impress their fellow morons and "own the libs".

he's not been convicted of anything yet, and he may not be. doesn't mean he is not guilty, only that he got lucky with the jury pool. but, you are right. :good:

No America would not be better off because if the positions were just handed to the Democrats you would still have a bunch of politicians largely not representing their constituents. The problem you seem to be having is that you appear to draw the erroneous conclusion that if someone speaks negatively about Republicans that they must automatically be cheerleading for the Democrats. Now obviously some are but the vast majority of the country that opposes the republicans other then democrats are independent centrists and at least for the time being they pretty much represent the portion of voters that one might call the king makers. Meaning they're the ones that sway the elections to the right or the left. Those that are far right (Current day Republicans, MAGA) and far left (Progressive, socialist, Liberal Democrats) are fairly evenly matched in number. So for the last several elections since GW Bush. The side that won was the side that made the best case to the Independent Centrists. Trump being an unknown in 2016 was an anomolly. He got lucky by picking a time in politics when voters were feeling frustrated enough to take a chance on an unknown commodity like Trump. Many reasoned that because he seemed to be a relatively sccessful Billionaire maybe he could manage to actually get things done. Of course that was also before the country learned just how much of Trump;s success and wealth was over inflated BS and in reality he was a moron that didn't really know how to make the government work other then to enrich himself and some of the other true billionaires. By the time 2020 rolled around Trump's true nature was revealed and that's why Biden did so well. If 2024 ends up being Trump and Biden or most any of the other Republican candidates and Biden then Biden will likely win again by similar margins to 2020 or perhaps even better.

Yes many of the Democrats are more loyal to corporate interests then to the people but all in all the Democrats still tend to make sure the middle and lower class see some benefits at least more so then the Republicans tend to do. At this point if we the people want to see big change then we're first going to have to work on cleaning out the worst of the worst in congress on both sides because untl we do and replace them with more reasonable people willing to actually represent their voters, things will remain pretty much as they have been, with the President not being able to make meaningful change because whoever he/she is he/she will be blocked by a congress that engages in brinksmanship and/or revenge politics.

Personally I would love for there to be an expansion of the number of parties to chose from but that's never really going to happen as things are now because the Democrats and Republicans won't allow it. You could possibly get a third party candidate elected as President if he/she really captures the imagination of the voters to create a large enough grass roots movement but then what? How much would a third party candidate actually accomplish with virtually no support in either branch of Congress? Until all that changes in significant ways you'll continue to have the majority of the voters picking the lesser of two evils which for the time being and the near future is the Democrats. The Republicans have made it clear they're not about doing what the voters want but rather siezing power and telling the voters what they want. The Democrats so far anyway, are smart enough to understand that you have to give the middle and lower class voters something if you want to hold power.

I don’t base my opinions on who people criticize. I base them on who they don’t criticize.

i'm an equal opportunity critic, if i think Biden is fucking up, i'll say so. if i think The Chump is, i'll point that out. do i balance them evenly? nope, and everyone that is honest knows why. i hate Pelosi and many Ds for their blind hatred of the 2nd amendment just as i hate the entire religious right wing of the GOP for trying to shove women back into the 1950s era of barefoot and pregnant. i despise BOTH parties for their extravagant spending on their pet projects and leaving infrastructure crumbling around the country. over 85% of citizens (according to polls) think that cannabis should be legal for recreational use by adults, and far more than that want it legal for medical use. why has that not happened? (rhetorical question)

Prosecutors wanted 30 years for top proud boys leaders. Instead, they got 10 - 18 because they cried and testified that they were under orders from their president and they believed him. Pretty good chance we will see this testimony again.
