As much as I'd like to see Rudy throw the last greasy shovel fulls on Chumps grave, he really needs to do some time. The bro cheesed! Rudy, last chance to salvage any kind of reputation...
I'm not so sure I'd read it quite that way. Judge Aileen "Loose" Cannon has been playing a cautious, incremental game. Cautious in that she has been doing her best to help Trump out without being so outrageous as to do something Smith can reasonable appeal it to the 11th circuit court because she seems to realize if he gets one of her desicions there again for a third time, he will be well positioned to motion for her to be removed. Incremental in that as she's being cautious she's still moving things on the calander to Trump's prefered timeframe of some point after the election. So all she needs to do at this point is let it move closer to May and then just prior to that throw another tantrum that then positions things for her to push the date back a few more months, just like she did recently when she had her tantrum with regards to the "Garcia" hearing motion about possible conflicts of interest. Already pushing things to May was a significant momvement of the goal posts from where she started out and I'm thinking she's not done yet. The good news though is other cases are moving forward full speed ahead and now that both of the RICO coconspirators in GA that wanted an early trial have plead guilty without going to trial Willus now has room on her court docket to try to start to go after some more or all of the rest of the coconspirators with the added bonus that the defense lawyers for those other coconspirators didn't get a preview afterall of how she plans to make her case. Also judge Chutkan appears to be determined to stay on track for her case to proceed in March of 2023 and hopefully the two who flipped will help Speed things up for Jack Smith as well. So with any luck all of "Loose" Cannon's efforts to delay things will be virtually meaningless because Trump will already be convicted on other indictments by then?I do find it very interesting that Judge Cannon chose May to proceed with the Documents case. Because that means it should be wrapping up sometime in Q3, right before the November election.
It almost seems like she wants all of the information regarding the mishandling and willful retention of classified documents to be in the forefront of everyone's mind right at that particular moment in time.
Very odd indeed.
I'm thinking Jennas Ellis will flip before Rudy does and maybe Mark Meadows cooperation will solidify before Rudy gets the good sense to follow suit. I'm kind of with Zeez though and would prefer to see Rudy be the rat that goes down with the Trump ship. Ameroca's Mayor should have known better and deserves to get everythng seemingly coming his way.The bro cheesed! Rudy, last chance to salvage any kind of reputation...
He just had to push for that 3rd vote. He should have just let McHenry have his temporary role and powers extended until January so he could have time to clean up the mess made with all the threats and bullying. Although i guess he came to the same conclusion i did that no amount of time was going to improve his chances.House Republicans drop Jim Jordan as their nominee for speaker, stumbling back to square one

I'm thinking that someone from high up in the GOP donor list made that suggestion. Maybe even a couple of someones. She's likely the only judge that they could potentially make a phone call like that to.I'm not so sure I'd read it quite that way. Also Trump is really pushing the limits of the gag order such that he can a little closer to being thrown in jail for violating his gag order and if Trump continues being Trump we might get to see him in jail before Nov. 2024 for continued violations? Suffice it to say, Trump's future is not looking very bright whatever way any of these cases go.
I guess anything is possible but so far all signs point to her doing the bidding of Trump and so I'm not sure calls from GOp donors would influence her. If there were GOP donors influencing her because they want to free themselves of Trump it would make more sense for them to push her to going back to an earlier date then May. It's all quite murky right now though so unfortunately we'll have to wait and see how it all plays out.I'm thinking that someone from high up in the GOP donor list made that suggestion. Maybe even a couple of someones. She's likely the only judge that they could potentially make a phone call like that to.
Seems like a great opportunity for the GOP to finally get rid of the loadstone hanging around their neck.
I'm not saying that's what's happening. I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised if that is what's happening.
Do you all see what dumb ass Donald did there? Due to his inability to STFU, his statement of "MS. POWELL WAS NOT MY ATTORNEY, AND NEVER WAS. In fact, she would have been conflicted,” He just gave more credibilty to any testimony about interaction between her and Trump because if she was not his attorney or never was then what would she have possibly been conflicted with Trump on but one or more of the schemes her and Trump are being charged with?“Sidney Powell was one of millions and millions of people who thought, and in ever increasing numbers still think, correctly, that the 2020 Presidential Election was RIGGED & STOLLEN, AND OUR COUNTRY IS BEING ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED BECAUSE OF IT!!! MS. POWELL WAS NOT MY ATTORNEY, AND NEVER WAS. In fact, she would have been conflicted,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
it could also nullify attorney-client privilege?Do you all see what dumb ass Donald did there? Due to his inability to STFU, his statement of "MS. POWELL WAS NOT MY ATTORNEY, AND NEVER WAS. What's going to be really funny is the moment that he attempts to use "advice of counsel" as his defense, any and all communications between him and his lawyers become evidence open to discovery and nullify client/attorney privilege.it could also nullify attorney-client privilege?
I'm kind of in shock if that's what he's done

I would say that it definitely does that since he's stating that she was never his attorney. I mean how can there be attorney- client priviledge if someone was never your attorney to begin with? I'm really not sure where the truth is on this one either since I've heard several news outlets claim she was his attorney when they reported this story. To further confuse the issue I saw another report whch has Powell's own attornies supporting this claim by saying there was no paperwork ever signed to make powell, Trump's legal attorny to begin with. If that's true then this would appear to be one of those rare moments where Trump was actually telling the truth, go figure.it could also nullify attorney-client privilege?
