ICMag with help from Phlizon, Landrace Warden and The Vault is running a NEW contest for Christmas! You can check it here.
Prizes are: full spectrum led light, seeds & forum premium access. Come join in!
I got the new MH assembled and in place in its cool tube. Got the air pump for the cloner and got it a bubblin' away with a full load of clones (6).
Plus, I managed to tweak some things and was able to get the temps up in both the veg and flower rooms. Flower is sitting at a nice 68F, and the veg room is cozy at a balmy 82F.
Only issue now is my RH. It's absolutely wretched at 29%
But that I can deal with, basically boils down to more watering.
Feels nice to have everything going finally. Time to get down to it
The plan as of right now is to go ahead and flip the big SWT13 reveg over to 12/12 in about 3 days. I'm to the point now that I just wanna get moving. So either the SWT13 clones take this time (I'm 1-4 on cloning this bitch, hoping the bubble cloner will help sort things out), or they don't and I just lose the genes. Hate for it to happen, but things gotta move. If I can't clone it, I don't need it anyway.
Once the Brain Warp seedling get large enough, they'll be rinsed out of they're soil sprouting cups and put into DWC buckets. Once sexed, the females will be put straight into flower.
Within the next week or so, I'm going to pop JLP's Mississippi Mud and get them started. I have a feeling I'm going to be looking for a mom out of those, which is another reason I don't mind passing on the SWT13 genes if they don't make it.
Now, if the SWT13 clones do take, then we're off to the races. 4 of the clones will be put directly into flower after a weeks veg, DWC style. The other clones will be kept as a mom.
So, if all goes well, here's the Harvest schedule:
cool NiteTiger, glad to hear you have ome nice genetics on the go. that mississippi mud should be a winner. i get you on the clones, if they don't root, give 'em the boot, eh? lol.
The Seedlings are loving the new warmer temps and the 400w MH, absolutely loving it
The SWT13 Reveg is started her 12/12 last night:
The clones, however, are not happy with the sudden loss of nutrition and drop in light. It's not as bad as it looks from the angle of this pic, though. It's just the leaves that are wilted, the stems are standing up nice and straight. I think at least two of them should survive. Actually probably 5 of them, one I'm a little doubtful over
FlipMode - Meh, I'm not too worried about the clones, they're only 2 days off the mother, it's noemal for them to droop. The stalks are still standing up and a nice green, so I think they'll make it. Like I said, the pic doesn't really give you a good angle on them.
TimTim - Glad you're tagging along bro! Hang in there, we should have some buds here soon!
Mpro - Indeed it was! Now, if only one of the clones survive, so I can keep the genes available. You'll understand why when this girl gets to budding again
Hey Nite Tiger! Looking good! The clones' leaves can be cut in half to lower the amount of water loss. You can mist them with a spray bottle too. Hope they recover for ya!
Also in the winter time, the cooler air is not able to hold as much moisture, so just heating up cold dry air isn't going to put moisture into it.....Dryer air would make them wilt even easier. A humidity dome or 1-2 L bottles over the clones would raise the humidity and help conserve moisture.
So, today, my new breaker finally arrived. We can get that extra 30A circuit in, and get a big heater put in the flower room. Which will be nice, since the small heater I had in there died today
Poor reveg is gonna get a tad cold tonight. Lights on temps were hovering at 58 So, she'll drop down a bit tonight, but I dont' think it'll be anything she can't handle. I'm still going to try to slide another heater in there tonight, but all I've got are big ones, and I don't think the circuit will handle it.
The seedlings are doing great, and the clones are perking up a bit, which was nice to see. Got the humidifer up and running a coupla hours ago (it had stopped working too ), so that should help too.
Oh, and the reveg got a dose of heavy veg nutes. After reading some more on Lucas formula, I realized that I should be doing 8ml in veg and 16 in flower. This might explain some of the poor results from the last run. I mentioned she was a heavy feeder a coupla times, so I think she'll respond very well to the heavier nutes.
We'll see soon enough
Oh, and today was my first day at my new job - passed the drug test Awesome job too, I couldn't have asked for a better one. (Well, except for as a Caregiver in Cali )
