capitalism also has built in mechanisms (racism is one of them) to stop the revolt as well (as we're being seen now from the right). through control of our society and institutions they can change the narrative and get people to actually protect the status quo (anti government righties protecting and enforcing the will of the gubbermint from the evil marxist blackies)
thanks for proving my point. you'd have a harder time naming people from that time period that weren't openly racist. now what's that got to do about critiquing our economic system because it is broken?

It's racist to uphold a racist system even if you don't consider yourself racist. Racism by proxy is still racism. You're actively not attempting to change the system, so therefore you're default on the side of racists and people who have a vested interest in keeping the system broken.
Saying you're not racist and/or you're down with reform while simultaneously saying you'll drive through protesters, or repeating dishonest rhetoric about how BLM is marxist, funded by china, antifa are terrorists, etc is paradoxical at best. You're repeating the state sponsored propaganda, which is designed to turn people away from reforms and the groups pushing these reforms and to protect the state.
Capitalism is inextricably linked to racism no matter how you want to carve it. It's one of the cornerstones of buying into the big lie for many people.
Socialism and Marxism on the other hand are not inherently racist or linked to racism. Marx was a fallible human yes and he said racist shit and likely was racist... And my point is.... And? That doesn't discredit his economic critiques in the same way the founding fathers being racist doesn't discredit the fact that they are the founders of our country.
For instance did you know Marx and Abe Lincoln used to write each other letters where Marx congratulated Lincoln on ending slavery? Or that he said stuff like this - “Labor in the white skin can never free itself as long as labor in the black skin is branded.” This stuff requires some nuance. Unless we're talking about fascism and authoritarianism. Those two groups can fuck off.
After 2020 I don't understand how anyone who isn't making millions of dollars can say capitalism is working right now.

I never said China funds BLM. I did say some have a marxist ideology which is true. I believe capitalism can and will work for everyone. I also believe it's racist to assume black people can't pull themselves out of poverty without the help of the government. Trump had the lowest unemployment numbers in the black community in a very long time which is progress. Nobody needs to make millions of dollars to be happy and live a good life. I love my job, pay my bill's, have my own home, certainly don't care if other people have more than I have I'm happy.
