Its like if all you could see is the inside of a fireplace, you would assume that the entire house is on fire. You would be right that all of the house which you can see is actually on fire, but you would not be right to assume that all of the house you cannot see must also be on fire by extension. You can only see the statistics for crime that is resolved through convictions. You're refusing to address the very factual statement on my part that a majority of crimes are never resolved. This means you cannot say with any certainty what exact percentage of overall crimes actually are committed by specific demographics. Stop dancing around this and answer it. Stop trying to claim I simply won't accept facts and respond to the point I have made. Your tactic is incredibly dishonest and inflammatory. You're totally ignoring my point because it does not match the bias you're putting on this discussion.
Again, without even 50% of major crimes being resolved, how can you claim to know for a fact who is committing those crimes? I even said that we can assume that the existing convictions are 100% accurate and we still do not have a complete picture. We only know blacks commit 20% of murders if we believe that all convictions are 100% accurate. We have no way of knowing though if blacks actually commit more or less than that because we don't know who the killer is 50% or more of the time. Solve rates for petty crimes are even worse, so again what do we know other than the fact that blacks get busted for crimes more often? How do you know this isn't proof that they're just worse at hiding their criminality? How do you know this isn't proof of an institutional bias? What crystal ball do you use and how does it work?

You're completely right. Unfortunately this is not how our society thinks. If you have a lot of melanin in your skin you must be "black" or "brown" and if you don't have a lot you must be "white". Of course the actual dividing lines between racial groups are so blurry as to practically not exist. Its like the people who live right on the border of France and Germany; are they French or are they German? Of course the answer is that they're likely a mix of both because of cross-border intermixing. Unless you're living on an isolated island somewhere the chance of your family lines staying homogeneous are pretty much nil.
Unfortunately on an institutional level, people are divided up by racial types and there are very different standards and cultures applied to them. Obviously this isn't totally one-way("black" cultures often exclude "white" people from entering their group, just like the opposite is also true). These artificial barriers are problematic and breaking them down is complicated. Ironically, the easiest way that post-Civil-War racists could have removed "black" people from America is to mate with them. If they had integrated them fully immediately after the war there basically would be no "black" people today other than African immigrants. It is the height of irony that refusal to mingle has in many ways expanded the divide.
So again you are claiming your "rational thoughts" outway the only way we can analyze the situation. The few facts we have should be thrown out because not all crime is solved. That's quite a stretch. So no research should be done until all crime is solved. Are you really asking me if I use a crystal ball?
I am have no problem stating that the poverty of the inner cities is a major factor in the increased crime in said inner cities. Mabey the democratic politicians who have run these inner cities for decades should step down and see if just mabey someone else could get the job done. I really don't see how it could get worse. Anyone that supports Trump is either dumb or blind or both. He is an opportunist with no real beliefs other then his own promotion. Much of his funding for projects have come from Russian gangsters that use Trump willingly to launder their ill gotten gains.
So far all of his insiders arrested have rolled on him, I bet if Trump is arrested he will also roll on anyone just to get a lesser sentence.

Ps I did not vote for Trump and did not support Hillary they are both people whom I despise. I did vote yes on Calif Prop 64, The Adult Use of Marijuana Act (AUMA).

I just saw this on instagram and thought it was an interesting read. I wonder of stuff like this contributes to the hatred and distrust of law enforcement? As a Black man myself there are plenty of small towns I wouldn't feel safe in that are all white towns. Only difference is that if I something were to happen to me in one of those towns the crime would most likely never get solved.

Really? If you ignore the fact that the sun may take another billon years or more to die out, you are still not correct. Nuclear power plants have been on the planet for 64 years and there have been dozens of accidents. More then one every two years, and as you say:

If we continue to use Nuclear power Plants it will happen again in our life times, do you really think that the sun will end in our life time?

Well I hope you stick around and help enlighten some folks. Race may be an illusion to some degree but racism and cultural divide are quite real. At least with open discussion you get to see where everyone really stands...
