revive the effects of a Haze cutting
From what I've read, the way to preserve "the effect" is to clone the mother, and the father, or short term, clone the mother and freeze pollen from the father. Perhaps the aroma/terpene profile is a major factor in effect. If you had a lot of seeds, I'd plant a lot and cull plants that do not have the same aroma/terpene profile.
In an attempt to revive an effect, if I have 24 seedlings and I'm selecting 6 plants, I'll keep 6 plants with the strongest expression of the preferred aroma.
Haze is a sativa poly hybrid, and Hawaiian Haze is a poly hybrid, it would be much easier identifying and "backing out" traits from a Punto Rojo x Guerrero cross. Using Big Sur Holy Weed, you'd think the purple Mexican sativa traits from the Purple Zacatecas mother would be easy to identify and isolate from the traits of the Afghani father.
BTW, not getting a Punto Rojo male in the first round, I've created the same complex poly genetics, crossing Punto Rojo to three sativa poly hybrids.
