how about picking up a guitar , plugging it in and playing... and thinking I'm jimi.... and I'm as far from jimi as a novice could be.... but maybe it wasn't the weed... maybe it was the ludes...confusing time..

The dispensaries don't like cured weed or trippy weed , just pretty weed , this is a big big problem , like politics people can become brainwashed . All my weed is cured n mason jars and green weed is like green wine or un cured tobacco , yup , keep of the good work and keep educating people , thanks !

How could I forget Mexican Laughing weed.
That kind was the first I ever smoked:

Easy hilarity at the absurdity of life (sore smiling muscles)
Feeling all is right in the world.
Intense Bliss
Makes the world feel alien and new
Enhanced sensory perceptions
Creative and/or profound thoughts or seemingly profound thoughts
Warped sense of time
Introspection
Out of body feeling
Seeing auras around living things
Noticing everyday things with fresh eyes
Enhanced Empathy
Loss of speed and distance judgement
Feeling at one with the universe
Thinking that you are not high, the suddenly realizing you are still high as f**k.
Positive vibe (Irie)

Hi nksv,

Read the thread. This is the point.

If you want it all in one strain, it's not likely, except maybe Thai from and grown as well as the old days. It is not hard to find a Bangi Haze with:

Feeling all is right in the world.
Bliss
Enhanced sensory perceptions
Enhanced Empathy
Feeling at one with the universe
Positive vibe (Irie)

Adding another to the list to expound on profundity etcetera:

Feeling detached from, at peace with, and self assured in "knowing" the world. (Attainable sometimes with a well grown batch of my SAGE cut)
Easy hilarity at the absurdity of life (sore smiling muscles)
Feeling all is right in the world.
Intense Bliss
Makes the world feel alien and new
Enhanced sensory perceptions
Creative and/or profound thoughts or seemingly profound thoughts
Warped sense of time

The cool thing about high quality cerebral/trippy weed is that all the above is available in differing combinations with different strains and different growing conditions and harvest timings. This is what is so addictive about it in my opinion.

I get that sometimes, I call it waves. Maybe 90 minutes into my preferred sativa buzz I'll feel a sober-like clarity for a few minutes before I then notice that I'm standing in a room and forgot why I was in that room to begin with. I rack my brain in effort to remember, at that point I realize the wave is hitting and I should just stop trying to remember and go back to the conversation that I was having with my plants. Certain sativas make me chatty :yappy:.

I believe the major key is the strain and its growing conditions, in 100% natural soil. take that thai cannabis for example, im sure they had been growing that stain year after year after year, if not decades after decades in the same soil. They would amend it with all the natural things at hand. The microorganisms and biology of thier soil was working great. They never grow it once and thrown away the soil they had been using.
Im of the opinion that one should seek out using mycelium in your soil, and not just any mushroom fungi but using a psilocybin strain, allowing the plant to naturally break down the fungi in the soil thus absorbing some of them psychedelic properties naturally. This i truey believe will get you trippy weed. If and when I can get my hands on a batch of psilocybin mycelium i would grow some plants and see what happens.

Psilocybin won't be absorbed by the plants.

Also even if it was there is only a small concentration in mycelium.

Psilocybin mushroom mycelium also won't stay around forever. As the mushrooms grow it gets depleted. There could be a way to add more substrate so the mycelium can colonize that and keep itself going but the new substrate would likely just contaminate before the mycelium had a chance to colonize the new substrate.

Thai Bliss, this thread has been my Bible! Haha. Got a Thai Zamaldelica in veg, she'll be trip mumma. Gorgeous purple stems and thai leaves. Haven't smoked her as yet though. I just keep getting excited by the descriptions here. I grew B. Haze once. Smoke was good but the yeild wasn't great. I ran it along a Zamaldelica and the Z blew my astrals apart. My fav smoke but still venturing into trying many sativa varieties (aka growing addicition). I'll run B Haze again though. My set up is pretty ghetto not that the Zamaldelica minds!

Interesting idea. I think I remember a picture in "The Plants of the Gods" by Richard Evans Schultz where a Thai plant is being grown in the compost heap. It probably had human shit in the compost pile. That is where you would want to look for the right type of mycelium.

Thanks for good vibes and contributing to this thread.

Please post pictures when you can of those strains. Loving that you are happy with some of these strains.

That's funny. I often witnessed in SEA rainforests the presence of bioluminescent myceliums while camping at night, looks exactly like moonbeans stains on the floor except the fact that there is no moon. (first time I saw that I shit in my pants thinking I was sleeping on top of an uranium field) If the place was open enough (and those myceliums are always found in relatively open patches of forest) I left seeds from my smoke on top of it. Maybe there is bioluminescent trip weed growing now in the depths of sumatran and Malaysia rainforests :)

Greetings,

I have grown an odd looking Neville's Haze individual hydroponically indoors that turned out just like the Thai weed of the old days, if not even superior in quality. I don't think that a spore from S.E. Asia floated over and populated the pot of that particular plant, only.

On the other hand, I have starts in soil out in my greenhouse for my summer crop. I have transplanted from tiny Jiffy Pots into 5 inch squared plastic pots with organic soil. When I did, I dusted the roots sticking out from the Jiffy Pot with spores of mycorrhizae. While I think the #1 factor in the high is genetic, by a longshot, environment plays a role and I'm covering myself as best I can.

I love the out of the box thinking about these possible interactions that likely have some effect.

I can relate to these, but many aspects are common to all proper strains when taken in high doses (I'd like to be more specific):

Feeling all is right in the world.
Intense Bliss
Makes the world feel alien and new
Creative and/or profound thoughts or seemingly profound thoughts
Warped sense of time
Introspection
Noticing everyday things with fresh eyes
Enhanced Empathy
Feeling at one with the universe
Thinking that you are not high, the suddenly realizing you are still high as f**k.
Positive vibe (Irie)

Not so much to these:

Enhanced sensory perceptions
Out of body feeling
Seeing auras around living things
Loss of speed and distance judgement

But maybe that's because I don't pay attention to them.

What haze lines would someone recommend for breeding a line searching for trip weed?

Neville's
Tom Hills Original Haze
Pure Haze - Flying Dutchman

Any ideas? Other hazes?

I found an extremely high quality devastatingly potent individual in a pack of Neville's Haze in the late 1990s.
I found it by growing a pack of Neville's Haze, a pack of Original Haze (Tom Hill's?), and a pack of WillyJack Haze. Out of all those seeds, about 30, none came even remotely close to that one from the Neville's Haze pack. You have to work hard to find it and lucky that you grow it correctly when you do.

The Original Haze had by far the best looking plants because of the sativa look, yet so resinous. I thought I found the old school great shit when I saw those. But the pale yellow stretchy Dr. Grinspoon looking one from Neville's was mind blowing. I tell people that it was the best I've ever smoked in my life, and I grew it indoors under HID lights.

I've heard good things about Tom Hill's and Nirvana.

I hope this helps,

ThaiBliss

hey Thai bliss...greetings:tiphat: I’m an older dude @ 56 years & grew up east coast smoking some of the marijuana imports you describe mostly circa 1975 > 1980...in '81 & '82 there was an influx of the "Buddha Thai" or "chocolate Thai" ...this was the real deal thai marijuana no if's, and's , or but's about it...it was completely devastating marijuana, but not particularly psychedelically trippy ,more like extra ultra heavy duty powerful marijuana...
