ive had this post censored a few times and removed, which i didnt understand. i mentioned another breeder who isnt icmag so it was considered spam. sorry i didnt know there was a grudge. without mentioning another breeder or bank, i will say there is a fem rks seed avail from california which should not be sweet. here is the reply i got from the seed bank, on another board.

the rks fems germed 6/6 in less than 24-48 hrs. still under floros, but getting ready for HID this week.. id like to journal this grow but it would be awkward if i could never mention the breeder. so i may show this run on a different forum.

About 7 years ago, a friend and I grew Soma NYCD. It was in hydro 3 part General Hydro nutes.

It smelled like a skunk died in the house. Someone that didn't know we were growing said the house smelled sour. You could smell it outside the house too.

When dry, even glass jars could not contain the smell.

It was the most powerful herb I have ever grown in both smell and effect. It was truly psychedelic. I became afraid to smoke it.

I like bio soil grows, but I think the Gen. Hydro 3 part makes the Diesel really stink, and it is more powerful than a soil grow.

If I remember correctly, there were two phenos, and I think the one that was kind of like a runt was killer herb.

thanks for the support. I haven't forgotten you guys and girls. Gave some seeds out to a buddy and he didn't have any of them germ. I'm on the back side of my OE seed crop and project. Will be making another selection, then I should be done on the OE for a little bit.

I'll post here and let everyone know once I get going. I've still got a good amount of seeds and will get them going soon. I know it's been a while, but my seed crop has taken longer then I'd like. I'm going to germ a bunch of the old skunk seeds and see what i get. If anything really stands out and right away. I'll get those in a pollen room and get those rolling. It's going to take some time, but I'll do a thread and members can follow. Should give everyone something to enjoy.

Again, sorry for the long wait. The big move and getting everything setup. Took longer then I hoped. I still got a lot of work to do, but it's moving along.

i got a quater of chemdog from my friend and i opened it to weigh out .5 to smoke a blunt and my sister who is downstairs thought my dog go sprayed by a skunk. thank god shes not so smart

nice...i've heard chemdog has some stank to it....i have some cuts in the ez cloner....so i'll see how stank she really is soon!!

Chem Dawg specifically Chem#4 has the closest smell to the RKS I've come across in recent years. I walked into my office with a gram in my pocket and less than 5 mins later everyone in the office was outside looking for the skunk. Still LMAO .

Anyhow I would say that Chemdawg has the same scent as RKS but it's not as strong. For example if I walked in with a gram of RKS the neighbors would have been outside looking for the skunk too.

I'm still reading this "lil" thread from the begining so if this has been covered later sorry, but I've been reading this for 3 days already!

ChemD is real stinky. Of course y'all will deny its even skunk. But it's one of those real smelly clones. Surely you'll enjoy it. Be sure your carbon scrubber is freshened. Woot!

A friend has recently harvested some of the RKS that you are talking about, and while it is not the strongest smelling skunk I have had, it did have a skunky smell to it. I must say the high is powerful and paranoid producing. The buzz is stronger and longer lasting than NYC Diesel. We have not developed a tolerance and have been vaping it a couple times a day for a week or so. Very nice. I will see if I can get some photos.

real skunk is something else too bad it's not in flavor now. It is a really heavy high and smell. The kushes/og's/chem dogs..all very good, no they are great but they are not road kill skunky skunk. last time i got even a wiff of that smell was when I was traveling through oregon, caught it driving by a car with their windows down. mMm wish I followed em

The sweet strains if you were to smell them in an area you might say ok somebody might be smoking/possibly growing in the area. The skunk there is no doubt, everyone will know, even people who never even smelled cannabis..its such a give away it just reaks to hell. probably one reason it fell out of flavor.

Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling just thinking about it and that many of you have tried it too. Beautiful! much kudos to the man/team who brings it back.
