Hmmm, what happened to the potential of this thread? 
As soon as I'm able to upload pics again I'll keep you updated on the Ecuadorians. They're both well into flowering right now, though the autumn is kicking in fast here. Temperatures are dropping and the plants aren't getting a lot of sunshine, but they do show some interesting bud formation however. Too bad so were so badly taken care of and the summer has been completely sh*t this year, but under better circumstances I imagine these plants to have potential nevertheless.

Hi there partner in crime!
The plants enjoyed a clear sunny day today. Night temps are near freezing point though, so the battered Ecuadorians must be struggling. I hope today did them good.
The barometer is dropping however, so there's some weather changes coming up. I fear it's not getting any better than what we've had today. Fingers crossed they'll keep standing up to the cold.

Mexican bagseed, about 11 weeks, could have gone a few days more, but found a little spot of mould on a lower bud and chopped her. The mould was only on a bud leaf that was damaged and hadn't spred to the calyxes nearby, so I caught it just in time. She is pretty damn dense for a sativa, loof like she has some commercial genes in her, yield is excellent. The other Mexican lady is also a heavy yielder but is much more leafy.

BH, it seems that your Mexican could really take some weeks more... However, I understand why you harvested her at this moment! These sativas can sometimes look like they wont ever stop flowering & ripe up, but instead they keep pushing new pistils

Thanx Herbalistic! Not much weight unfortunately, but considering she's far from finished at the moment I think I'll give the Ecuadorians another chance indoors in the future. Let's hope that will bring out their true potential. The colorings on the #4 are probably cold-induced, but there may be more where that came from... :wink:

Haha thanx Motaco. I don't blame you, there's not much to say about them. I sprouted the seeds in the knowledge they were going to have a really hard time outdoors, so my level of expectancy was pretty low from the start. I'm just glad to get a glimpse of their stature and bud formation now, and I think the colorings on the #4 are pretty cool, but they're not too impressive for the average viewer of these boards.
Ecuadorians in a Dutch outdoor grow are pretty rare though, so although they're not impressive, they still are unique lol... I hope those seeds will have ripened in time and I'll make sure I'll make it up to the viewers with a more thorough indoor grow in the future. Someday... :wink:

Sorry for the long wait, it slipped my attention. Although one of the Ecuadorians turned out to be quite the looker, I wouldn't want to raise any false expectations. The way they were grown didn't do them any good and I don't really have any signs that there's any hidden potential in these plants. I'm not complete sure about their origin either, but I can think of ways that would confirm these plants to be originally grown in Ecuador. Because I've had my share of brickweed in time I can honestly say this weed is different from Jamaican, Thai, Mexican or Colombian brick so for now I have no reason to doubt it's something out of the ordinary. But if there's any solid basis for a good potency, effect, weight, etc... I don't know.
The last pics were taken not long before I was forced to take them down. They were approaching their end although they were never given the ideal circumstances to show their full potential, and next to that I had a nasty white mold spreading. Nightly temperatures below zero °C, heavy winds and rainstorms, no more good weather forecasts. I found lots of immature trails of what may have become a ripe seed, and a relatively small number of mature seeds when harvesting.
For what it's worth, here's the last pics before takedown:

The TMB is a better documented strain, albeit still partially a mystery because I don't know how much variation there would be amongst a greater number of plants from these seeds. If you'd like to dive into a mysterious adventure I wouldn't mind providing you with some of the offspring, (pm?) but please keep in mind the above mentioned.

True landraces are disappearing quickly in Colombia, because growers and smugglers are importing dutch genetics that eventually get mixed with the few remaining pure lineages.

Nop, I just wanted to share the case of Colombia, which is the only one I know. I could not speak for any other countries because I've got no info about their situation regarding cannabis.

Alot of the south american varietys were brought there by Indian migrants from India originally who came there to work on the rail roads etc.
