morning mrs subby, rain sux but we needed it. i hope we have a good summer, the almanac says our average temp is going to be 86º. hope you , mr subby and the pouches are getting along. oh the grandson brought in a chocolate pit in to go along with the 6 ankle biters, i can see this. small dogs attack, big dog says me too. i'll try to get come pics later.

Our Arlo is trying to gain lead dog status in our pack but I dont think my Maryjane is having it. They got in a huge fight a couple weeks ago and although MJ was shellshocked from the experience, she still won the fight. Don’t want any more of that ction as it sounded like a wild dog was attacking my pups in the backyard. We are getting him fixed in a couple weeks to help him regain his sense about things…

Blue skys are gone and another three days of snow forecast.
We are several feet short on snow this year and really need it.
Cutting the herd by 75% this year and switching that pasture over to hay.
Expect beef prices to go up quite a bit this year as everyone here in cattle country is drastically cutting back due to fuel costs and over regulation resulting in runaway overhead.
I hope the city folks are ready to eat zee bugs.

Sorry to hear. Meat is already over the top! I mostly eat chicken and fish but I do love a good steak once in awhile.

I don’t eat near as much red meat as I once did, but I was at the meat market the other day and saw some prime tenderloin, and I could not deny owning some. At $35 a pound I didn’t buy much.
