Freezing outside weather, heat blocked off to room, window crocked open, HPS fighting mid 90's in tent. Would have to a/c the tent even in that weather. Any warmer, more trouble.

It could be done, was way easier to mount LED.
That was with a cool tube If I totally changed air flow, it could work in winter. LED is year round, still a fight in summer.

I grow in a very drafty garage.
No AC and summer temps outside hit 90's with triple digits in the tents.
I just open the garage doors and keep them watered.........cannabises do well in high temps if you move the air.
Never used AC for the grow in Florida either.
Must be my monumental ignorance saving me.

Wow, that's rough.
I turn my heat down to 68 at night, both tents are air-cooled by means of menards in line 4" furnace fan so its 75 or so in there and recirculates.
Daytime push the furnace to 73 and lights are off.
But it's always 10 degrees cooler in the basement.
I've been doing it this way for over 30 years.

I am always impressed with the incredible variety of environments they thrive in.
When I was involved in a grow for 10 years.
We had 8 1k hps in one room and 6 in another.
600 would have been a better choice.
I now use low watt leds and have little issues in burning the shit out of the tops
I got on sale from HLG a 200 watt rspec lite.
I think I should not make decisions whilst stoned
I own 6 lites FFS!
2 300 watt 2 200 watt and 2 100 watt veg
I should have worked at Maggies farm some more..

I am going to a Halloween party thirty years ago.
At my bil who lives in a apt complex in Mineola.
Every one is dressed up and I am in a wig with a bikini.underneath.
I take 5 of the folks outside to get stoned.
You out west folks swam in good weed but in NY not as much.
I always got great weed end of story ,high end and scarce around my parts.
I get those guy blind stoned ,drooling because they are not heavy hitters.
We get into the elevator all in costume and I take my dress nonchalantly off to show my old lady flowering bikini.
Their heads exploded , laughing,gasping for air,eyes tearing,one guy got a nose bleed.
And I got in trouble.

i cut mine off last aug. for my father inlaw's funeral, it is slowly growing back out. been thinking about keeping the front and top cut and letting the rest grow, like i wore it in the 70's so i didn't have to keep it in a ponytail all the time.
Im $20 + a $5 tip.
Its a buzz cut and I know for a fact the trimmer motor does not get to full rpm before he shuts if off already done.
My new jokes for him take longer than my cut

Splurge and get them all cut. I would pay a lot less than you if I paid a barber and he charged based on the number of viable follicles.
