To be so attached to someone so long ,all you know is being together.
My brother is 74 and with his wife for 48 years. He only knows life with her.
He was quite ugly and socially awkward(I tell him that all the time) so he didnt have many girlfriends ( I tell him that all the time too)
I've been living that life for going on 9 years...good friend support is key and having the boys is like having 2 kids in the house...when Ivan does his zoomies I sit back and crack up...they are my light...
