Good day OF, Last night was cool enough that I got some extra sleep, won't change much but it doesn't make things worse and that is good. It seems sometimes with old age and chronic health issues it's not about getting better, just not about getting worse off and be content with that.

It looks like the downward trend in weather is starting here, that means maybe I'll be more motivated to get things done as one of the busiest times of the year is coming on fast.

The summer lovers won't be encouraged by my words but those who appreciate fall will.:)
Amen Old Man

I have recently found out I like salt and vinegar potato chips. Pickle flavored potato chips as well. What Devine flavors await my high taste buds. There's leftover brisket.
Hi DB, the only time I like potato chips is to eat with a tuna sandwich.
Brisket, is very good eating, mmm mmm

Hey DB I remember you showing a photo of a banner type thing from Tibet or some such place.

I have a smaller one my son brought me from Nepal when he travelled there.

Good day GW, I spent some time in the hospital back aways, my roommate was a man in his mid-seventies or so. He fell of his roof and broke is pelvis. Everyone who came into visit him asked, what is a man your age doing up on a roof?
Good morning Old Man! That thought passed through my mind and why I decided to get bids! The problem of course is that I don't feel 80 years old, except for the chronic pain and all................

But you appreciate a prune in the long run.

Plum appearance is only skin deep, but prunes in the execution of bodily functions is entirely something else in the long run:)
It takes a plum to make a prune............ You might indeed draw parallels between prunes, geezers, and old farts.

I think I will finish my 1 load of laundry. Then while doing dishes I shall contemplate the circle of life of plums and prunes, geezers and old farts.

It's good you changed your mind about climbing the heights of your roof. Another day to walk away all intact.

Is he seeing prey in a ham sandwich right now? He’s got a pretty face 🥰💕
I have taught Ivan to leave my food alone alone under all circumstances. I’ve left a plate full of dinner on the hassock next to the chair. I usually sit in.
Are you going to do it all yourself, or can you farm some of it out?
when I get up into the trees, I’m going to assess what I’m able to do safely versus what I’m not going to touch which would hurt me . I have a week to fill up a 30 yard dumpster and I don’t see that’s going to be a problem because tomorrow is all the guys show up to help me work…

Take it easy....not a kid anymore. As I remember every time you start our on a project like that you end up in bed for a few days.

I am cutting my grass and that is wearing me out. Couldn't imagine taking care of your place. I sold my cabin and condos cause I simply couldn't keep up.

Back to work.

Is that the cabin you shared with John Cheever?
How was your walk today? Smoking good? What's for dinner?

I was actually wondering about farming out some of the work on your rod project.
