This is just a guess based on impressions I've gotten from doctors when discussing which prescription drug might be best. I think within a given class of drugs they're all pretty much the same with the differences mainly being who made it and what the side effects are. Who made it is mainly a factor of competition and capitalism since I've noticed that when someone comes up with something new, not long after a bunch of other new drugs of similar function turn up. For example one company comes up with a new drug for Crohn's Disease and then a month or two later a bunch of other new drugs for Crohn's Disease turns up. This doesn't seem to factor into the decision to prescribe other then which company is giving the doctor the best perks for promoting their drug.

More relevent is the side effects. I've heard it said for example that anti depressents have a tendency to cause weight gain and being overweight can make someone more dpressed. So a doctor is likely to prescribe to an overweight patient the drug least likely to cause weight gain. After that it all just seems to be trial and error with the doctor switching drugs until they find which one works best for the patient. It is rather disturbing in this day and age where we think orselves so advanced that they have trouble coming up with drugs that are effective for what they are meant for but also without a long list of rather frightening side effects. The bottomline is that the pharmaceutical companies seem to be mostly driven by profits and benefiting their investors with the welfare of the patient being way down the list of priorities.

I met my sweetie on the internet over 25 years ago. We chatted for months getting to know each other. My point being, I was surprised that over the course of time how you could get to know someone over the net, how you could begin to tell how they were feeling that day.
Here I am with my sweetie 25 years later and it all started on the net with chatting and getting to know each other.
Sort of off subject but related. Your story reminded me of my own and how I met my wife (an online virtual reality world). Anyway back then the internet was all new and shiney for the average person and the idea of meeting someone on the internet to date or get involved with seemed like such an odd thing with a large percentage of the population thinking it's not a good way to find a mate. Now flash forward to today and we've seemed to become the polar opposite with many people finding it near impossible to meet a perspective lover in the old traditional ways and that the only way to meet someone is with the help of some online service.

Just to be clear, the place where I met my wife wasn't meant for people to hook up. in fact it was pretty bad for that since the people who went there were from all over the world and your chances of running into someone geographically manageable for you was very small. Fortunately my wife was from the same country and even more fortunate she happened to be living in the same state so it was actually very easy for us to meet in person and allow cupid to work his magic.

I just learned a close friend of over 45 years passed while I was in ICU. Found out as we were driving back and made the viewing last night. RIP Kenny.

Services today at 11:00 if they do graveside military honors I'll be bawling like a baby.

I couldn’t figure it out either till I blew it up …now that inner circle is where all the privileged people are either that or they’re also paying a lot of money to be there… View attachment 19042376
Yeah that's Metallica's personal mosh pit. Having been lucky enough to get invited there it's really a great way to watch the band. Although it seems to have gotten much bigger since the one I was in at a Philadelphia concert back in the late 90's early 2000's. As far as I know there is no way to buy a ticket into there and access is handed out to priviledged people along with back stage passes. I managed to get in because the daughter of my landlord at the time was dating one of the lead roadies who helpped set up the stage for the band. She didn't have transportation but the roadie she was dating really wanted to see her as Philadelphia was the closest he would be to her for months. So she asked if I would be willing to take her and my compensation for driving was free tickets + back stage pass + entrance to the pit. Also a free room to stay in. Since Metallica was one of my favorite bands at the time agreeing to drive my landlord's daughter to the show was a no brainer. I also got to meet and greet with the band and score several autographed soveneirs such as a drum stick signed by the drummer, a ticket stub signed by James Hetfield and some guitar picks from their lead guitarist.

I still take credit cards like when I was in business ,but nobody wants to give them to me anymore.
The hoot with WolfWurx, Inc, is that because we were involved with the cannabis industry and we kept depositing large amounts of cash, the banks kept canceling our accounts, forcing us to deal in and bank our own cash.

At he same time they were forcing us Medical MJ to be our own bankers, they were trying to take our firearms away from us.

That’s why I pay in cash.
