Gee I don't see nothing funny here
People out there looking specifically for male plants these days.
The girls ain't where it's at these days fellas, plant wise anyway
Been say that for years.

Will never get a great racehorse without a good stud....

As a small ID craft/ personal grower with a very limited bloom window,
I do not keep males. The sooner I can identify and cull them saves
much time/ energy and resources that I can then expend upon growing
the best flower that I am able.

I don't hate the male plants, I simply cannot rationally keep them in my current situation.

Edit to add:
I have ran a few auto flowers as the seeds were gifted and I wanted the experience.
I have no issue w/ autos nor femmed seeds for those who prefer those options.
I however, prefer regular seeds and very much enjoy the pheno hunt :)

That I fully get and understand its the people making the seeds that are doing it as well........curiosity regards unintended consequences is piqued.

I agree 100%

If I had the space/ place for OD growing, I'd probably just open pollinate
select pheno's. But, for now... that looks to be a far away dream.

I think male plants are way too underrated and have a great disdain for
irresponsible 'breeders' (pollen chuckers).
They are beautiful also when in full flower.

I think we have lost way too many expressions over the years w/ all the
poly breeding and inexperienced persons polluting/ diminishing the gene pool.

I don't breed and probably never will. No interest in doing it. Don't know why just not my thing. I respect those who do though.

Apparently you don't breed
Right, too old for that now 😳

I have no room for males. Only 4 plants allowed here and I push that all the time waiting on females with reg seeds. Feminized seeds are easiest but I like to try new stuff and usually thats reg seeds. Had more males this year than ever but did score enough females for my outside grow.
