Okay, this post is definitely an 'old fart' type post :)

4/8/23 I began a strict carnivore way of eating.
I also had lab work that early morning.
HDL = 83
LDL = 239
Trigs = 66

7-16-24 still primarily carnivore woe.
HDL = 94
LDL = 192
Trigs = 60

All other test are hitting about middling numbers, so all good.
Except Thyroid is a tad low, but we're already addressing that.
7-10-24 BP 138/80. Doc not concerned given I'd just put my dog
to sleep less than 24 hrs. before.

Not concerned about my LDL as I've discovered
the way cholesterol is quantified is BS.
Think... statins sales ;)

Still doc will order a CAC to see if I do actually have plaque build up.

All in all... not too bad for an old gal ;)

Me too except for Brown Recluse in the house.
Made me think of one day I'd steam cleaned the carpets
and along the base boards I discovered a few little balls
of my head hair. No biggie, I just walked along and picked
them up until... one moved... oh shit.

I'm respectful of arachnid and know what not to mess with.
I also know that the Brown Recluse is not common to our area.
Or, at least were not at the time of this occurrence.

Still... it looked like a BR so... I got a jar (hey Subie!) and captured it.
The jar distorted view so I couldn't get a good look at it's markings.
Took it to the managers office and since the bug guy was on his way
I left it for identification. If there were BR's then we needed to know.
It was not.
Still... when that 'ball of hair' moved... I freaked out for a sec lol

I don't kill spiders who make their way indoors, I release them outdoors.
The little house spiders that tend to make their homes in the corners
of the grow room stay... they eat up the little pests :)

My father-in-law quit taking his statin about 2 months ago. He could barely walk when he was taking them because his hips were killing him. About a week after he stopped taking them, his hip problems went away. I have seen pubmed papers that found no difference in cardiac arrest incidence between people on statins and those that were not. As you stated, statin sales.😡
