I love me some Billy Strings. 💕
As do I. He's one of our very own native sons done gone big :)

He is also a friend of a friend and she took me to see him
live and meet him back in 2011 or '12?
I'd just got a new phone and had no clue as to what I was
doing but still managed to record the entire show.
Been thinking I might contact him and see if he would
like me to send the footage.

Good morn Gypsy (or... afternoon perhaps by now?).

That is the scale we sang to 'tune up' our voices in HS Choir :)

I so very often think in song lyrics haha.
Music is such an integral part of our lives,
I think it might be strange if our brains
did not often call up references to our music.

Memory trigger...
Among the songs my mom's sang around the house.
and one of my favorite things :)

Ya - same here - I was in the choir at boarding school - and we always used that song to tune up the voice box - they had me singing carols at Christmas as lead soprano - then puberty was upon me - me nads dropped - went to tenor - so no more singing carols with a squeaky voice - and the rest is history -

Currently I'm sitting - waiting to be called for a Hepatolgy appointment - at St Thomas's - there appears to be something concerning the docs to do with my blood - so it seems - I'll find out later -

Keep us abreast as this unfolds.
Will be bombarding you with positive thoughts from across the pond :)
In hopes that they do not find anything of any negative significance 🤞🤞🤞

Always 2nd Soprano for me. Now, cuz if ya don't use it... ya loose it...
my voice has gone to crap. My dog still loves for me to sing to her so,
that's enough encouragement to sing aloud these days (in the privacy
of our own home that is haha).

I love to sing too always have but was never good at it but it never bothered me. I too sing to my dogs making up something with their name in it. If it’s good enough, sometimes Maryjane wants to dance 😁 I play ukulele and sing to my plants too. They are my audience and I can hear them cheering and saying more more…🤣😂🤣

If your dog likes your singing, don't seek a second opinion. Same goes with your cooking.............

The hardest part is getting their skin wet.
The coat is incredibly dense and soft and wicks water away from the skin.
Bubbas is white like cotton and Babys is grey like wool........gonna stuff a mattress.
We were also looking at some watering troughs but the bigger, round nylon ones so we can swim to.
😆
View attachment 19016347 All tuckered out and covered in slobber just how they like it.

I recently purchased a Uke at the thrift store for $3+.
It's not fancy but in good shape. Thought I might
teach myself how to pluck out a few tunes :)
Not sure if it's even a realistic goal and may
just prove to be a fantasy as my hands are
shit these days, sigh.

I think as long as we speak to our animals in a
kind voice, that's all they care about.
Scooter loves for me to hold her and
dance her around.
