I've been watering my Hempy's daily, but always think, wonder if I should let them sit a day or two before feeding again...

They look great though!

If it works for you great, but I have gone every other day or even every three days. Relative humidity is a factor, and also what strain your growing. The best indicator is your plants look great!

Hey Thanks Jelly! Yeahr I kind of got away from Hempy's only doing about one. I have this killer bad wound on my hand that limits my use so I went to Hempy's again to be able to feed every few days, but I still fed every day haha! I'm like that, stubborn. If it wasn't for this miracle plant, cannabis oil I prob would have lost my finger. I am still able to use my hand a lot, but it's still healing thank god!

Do I need to measure hempy run off ppm and ph. Im in my first coco hempy and I really can't understand. Is run off data is actually my rez conditions? Or I only need to take care for what I put in? How immportant is this measure? Do I need to keep my run off as close as possible to my feeding?

Runoff can give you an indication of the plants' nutrient uptake or lack thereof, but I don't find the need to check runoff these days unless something just looks drastically wrong. Water at least once a day, every day... 20% runoff, you'll be just fine. Primary concern is what's going in. I run ec of .4,.8,1.2 and 1.5 respectively, depending on the cycle of the plant and its individual uptake. Being your first hempy, I'll remind you to be very careful about cal/mag issues. I Feed 1,3 and finally 5ml per gal of a calmag variation throughout the cycle, till about 6 weeks in. (again, strain and plant dependant.)

The original Hempy buckets with perlite/vermiculite require much less of this type of hassle.

I had those (before we were BUSTED), the runoff was always way higher than what went in, like 7.5ph++
I would honestly ignore the runoff and just worry what's going in.

Water at least once a day, every day...
I am a strong advocate of watering when the plants NEED it, not on a schedule. 99% of problems == wrong watering.

Coco acts like a sponge. Whatever you pour in the top, pushes the current solution out and through your overflow
Not only will coco leech cal/mag, but by allowing it to dry out, you're creating the potential for nitrogen to start binding to the coco. Minimum of 10% runoff is the key to a fresh rez and a happy plant in hempy with minimal issues imo.

Ok I watering every day my 2 gal bucket with a lot of run off sometimes up to 50%. Im currently at 1000 ppm and I water with this ppm from 5 weeks. Im curently at 2 week in to flowering without sign of burn. My run off is always more ppm than I put in. So I watering with 1000 ppm and run of is 1400 ppm after one week. Then I flush with same solution and run off comes more acceptable around 1200 ppm. Then after week run off is again 1400-1500 ppm. And I need to rince again. Do I overfeed? Or just waste nutes? Or this is salt build up and I do everything right?

50% is too much, you're just wasting nutes at that point. Did you presoak your coco in a pH'd solution before using it? What is your pH going in and coming out? I wouldn't be so concerned with runoff ppm as I would be pH. higher ppm coming out than going in just means the plant isn't using everything you're giving it. Can you show us a pic?

I use canna coco out of the bag no rince no presoak, nothing. I always ph to 5.8. Run off ph is 5.6 on one plant with highness run off which is 1400 ppm 2.8 e.c. others have run off from 5.9 to 5.7 ph. I will take pics tomorrow because I deleted all pics today from my phone but I have some pics in proffile before 1,2 weeks.
Plants is big and well trained at this point they are really big and just start 3 week of flowering.
This pics is from last week of veg. Currently plants is healthy just like before.

Find one pics from yesterday. I agree with you Foothills Farmer plants don't use what I give em and there is salt build up. What can I do at this point?
My starting ppm is really high. I use tap water 150 ppm and add cal mag to hit 400 ppm in other case plants show deficiency some show cal others mag. So this give me 0.8 e.c start. When i add basic I hit 1000 ppm 2.0 e.c.
And another one question do I need my run off ppm to be lower than what goes in?

So you've been seeing cal and mag def. in various plants?

I never let my ec go over 1.7 with a .2 tap.... unless they beg for it.

I'll wait for a response.

back to using traditional Hempy pots.
I think they work best for my set up.
I can water every three days and my plants like it.
These Folgers containers work great.

Thanks.
Yeah, they like the coco and hempy setup.
The only trouble I've had is during the flush.
Hopefully that problem will not recur.

Group shot at 62 days.
They are starting to finish up with the larger leaves fading and trichs starting to get milky. I plan on taking them down somewhere around seventy five days. The Death star plant which is front and center in the group shot may need a bit more time but not much.
About a week and a half ago they hit a major bulking stage. Buds starting flopping over. Not something to complain about. LOL.
I hit these plants with pollen from a nice Diablo male and it looks like finish time for both the plants and their seeds will coincide nicely.
I've toned down the nutes to one tsp. Floranova bloom/gal. I've been fighting some burned leaves and tips . I'm at the bottom of a quart sized bottle of nutes. Things are little chunky and sandy in there. Maybe thats the cause of the leaf problems? At any rate lessening the nute strength seems to have helped and the plants are chugging along .
