This is probably a dumb question but how much do you think I need to flush the perlite to remove all the salts from GH 3 Part after a grow? I'd like to mix it into my organic soil mix for my garden. Just fill it up with tap water, let it all drain out, and repeat three or four times? Similarly, how much do I need to flush to reuse the perlite for another grow in Hempy Buckets? My apologies if these questions have already been answered.

Flush the perlite with water until the Run off EC is at a level you are happy with for your organic mix.

Personally I wouldn’t worry to much if it isn’t exaclty EC=0, but try get it at least under 0.4 or you could cause troubles down the line when amending your organic mix.

For a subsequent cycle in hempy buckets getting the EC run off under 1.0 should be fine that’s assuming you’re growing hybrids or BLD Dom plants, go lower if you do NLD. Your small cuts will appreciate that bit of extra P from bloom feed and use it for root creation.

Hope that helps :)
