@Dansbuds... Im in Africa so no idea what a big box store is... I did have trays under there once I flipped, just such a mission to decant each tray daily... the rooms pretty small, 1.1m by 1.6m so its a tight squeeze in there as is, if I could set up something simple and individual for each plant it'd make daily chores all that much easier...

@Ashin'Kusher... howzit, thats a pretty good idea. Id just like it to be more permanent, you know all I wanna do is feed, nothing else... lol

Im using a locally made 3 part called Easy Hydro Grow [EHG] first time using it, first run with hempys... seems to work okay...

Smellyflorist nice little vert you have going there.

Whats up guys.

I'd like to make this group to be bonsai hempy mothers from left to right Emerald triangle BlackBerry OG freebie the following 3 Humboldt seed organization Amherst Sour Diesel all feminized. Just starting to get the hang of hempy these are all beer cup hempy's 19 days old.

I want to know should pot up now ? I plan on putting them in the square pots 3:1 perlite : vermiculite. Though I want to use coco for my sog. Right now they're in the tent under the 600 watt mh. Watered fed them 1/3 stength pbp grow which every watering is a feed, yesterday in the morning untill sufficient run off. Checked them in the evening and the reservoir empty. Which I believe means the root system is there.

You could pot up now, but why? Might as well wait until the rootball fills the cup. If you pot up now, you're just gonna be using more nutes to accomplish the same amount of growth. JMO.

@Jellyfish thanks. I can see letting them go in the cups longer but how do I know the rootball size ? By checking them or going by how fast they drink ?

One cool trick I have seen is to put seedlings in a clear plastic cup, and then put that cup into a regular, non-clear cup of the same size. Then you can sneak a peek whenever you want.

Or just go by size. Plants will be 8 or 10 inches tall before the root ball outgrows those cups.

Wow that buckethead thing is a great idea. For $21 bucks, it's a shop vac top that fits on any five gallon bucket. Now that's a great idea. I know i already said that, but it is great and I'm stoned.

N Deficiency from Overwatering?

Sorry no pics, but when I describe it it should be clear:

Very yellow leaves at the bottom, creeping up slowly.

Leaves are "clawing" down, almost look like they're too heavy.

I might have overdone w/ watering, my plants are in 3:1 Perlite/Vermiculite but I watered them probably too much and always had nute solution in my outside trays/container.
I am feeding GH Trio, standard dosage, right now vegging (7/7/7ml per 10L)

Am I right suspecting it's N deficiency from overwatering, the leaves bending/clawing down also seem to indicate its too much water?
Otherwise I couldn't explain why they'd have Nitrogen deficiency.

Thanks!

Edit: What should I do, just wait some days and cut down watering, like water just any 3 days or so?

Plants will claw like that from just plain overwatering, no N deficiency required.

In perlite/vermiculite medium, they only need water every two or three days. It's strain-dependent, so ust keep an eye on them. Just wait until the pots are light before you feed and/or water again.

I agree.. Feeding too much/too often and my plants get slouchy (the "N" curl even @0.6ec)

They seem to do best when I supply them with feed steady, close to the rate they use it. Small containers work best.

If you're using the GH Trio, at their recommended rates, then I would assume it has to be you're over-watering your plants.

Just to let you guys know, the plants in my Hempies grow INSANELY FAST and big/tall.....so whatever people said about Hempies I can confirm. My "problem" right now is actually that I need to slow their growth because I need to keep them in the green house at least until June 1st, they're already monstrous.

I had some slow starters (VERY slow actually, some kept not taller than an inch for weeks)...but then at some point they really explode...it's just insane.

That's awesome, flexy123. Many of us here have had the same experience. Rock on with Hempy buckets!
