The two on the right look over watered. You are using vermiculite? That holds water. Better cut some more drain holes in those cups, and forget about Hempy cups, if that's what you are doing. Just regular cups with plenty of drainage until you transplant to bigger buckets. Meanwhile, you can squeeze those cups to get some of the excess water out. Seedlings need drainage. They are suffocating.

I'm liking the 3 1/2 gallon buckets so far :)

the rootballs will tell me if the extra gallon & a half was needed or not .

Thanks again,

I let them go 1.5 days before water/feed and the two Ice have picked up considerably.

They are almost ready for transplant. If you can get it, I recommend using coco instead of perlite/vermiculite. You will get better results, as coco holds oxygen and can't be over watered. If you feed daily, they will have explosive growth, as the fresh solution brings fresh oxygen to the roots. I would not water again in those cups. No air for the roots.

Thanks RG,

may need to wait a week plus to transplant, still have ladies finishing in my cabinet.

I have the Perlite and Vermulite and don't have the funds for coco right now, maybe next grow.

hi folks

after my last coco-hempy-bucket-micro-scrog run i am starting a new project.

this time it is a coco-hempy-bucket-micro-sog, each plant is in a separate micro hempy.

as you see, some of the clones are far from perfect condition... but i hope they will recover soon and get growing:

every hempy bucket is fed with an automatic system, 4 times daily.

hope you like it :]

peace out! :smoke:

so essentially this is a hydro system you water everyday?
When starting them, just water a little around the stem once a day. DO NOT WATER UNTIL RUN OFF! we hand water our plants right up until harvest.

Once the roots are established in the rez (about a week or two) then water once every couple of days until run off. peace

Oh really? Was that before or after he told you NOT to sell his seeds that he gave you for free out of his good heart? You're nothing but a DANGEROUS HACK!

G`day Grassot`s Dad , GM1 , Sock Puppet .

Here`s a tip .
If your going to slander folks on the internet , make sure you have the facts straight before you go blurting out lies about incidents you were not involved in . .

Tell you a lil story ... None of the seeds I received from Hempy germed !

He may be able to drill a hole in a bucket , but his seed making / storing sux . lol .

I have never sold a seed in my time rotating around the Sun .

Talking of hacking .
The G13 Hz A x La Nina and NL#5 Hz C x Mango Hz have both received HashPlant Hz C x La Nina Pollen . Wish me luck I`m goin in .

Thanks for sharin

@NKOTS, not being harsh, but your pic is a prime example of what I've been saying all along and just incase you've missed it I'll say it again.
gd, not being harsh, but i observe that vast majority of trustworthy folks here consider you a troll. please don't take it as an offence but i do read your posts with a considerable amount of suspiciousness... thanks for your concerns anyway :tiphat:

Your plants will survive in time, but they would've been much better if grown in similar size containers with the holes at the bottom, such as regular plant pots (which aint see thru). Hempies need to be grown in a minimum size of 1 gallon in order to be any benefit.
not sure i am getting your message. they indeed are in similar size containers with the holes at the bottom.

if you refer to the fact that my containers are opaque , then worry not because they hardly let any light through.

however if you refer to their size, which is only 0.7 litre (0.18 gallon) then worry not again ;)
i am sure somebody said before 'it is impossible for a man to land on the moon' yet it did happen.
so perhaps my plants will not only 'survive in time' as you claim but they would prove that hempy works just fine even in much smaller containers than 1 gal. time will tell and i will throw an update here every now and then to let you know

on a side note: you may want to browse through the yoghurt cup challenge thread to see what results people get in very very small containers. only few of them would use a technique similar to hempy bucket but those who do it (+coco) get much better results than traditional soil growers.

also, feeding 4x a day at this young stage is way too much. You only need to water just a little around the stem once a day until the roots get established.
here you may be correct. however the plants react well (except for some of the clones whose roots were damaged during transplant) so hope this stays fine.
i also see signs of recovery among the miserable clones :good:

besides, the watering takes place 4 x daily but the volume of water is very little. i will increase it once they grow a bit bigger.

...not sure i am getting your message. they indeed are in similar size containers with the holes at the bottom...
I think you got my message so I'm not going to elaborate too much on your last post. Yes there are a small bunch who would like to see me commit suicide or whatever and sorry if you wish to call them trustworthy and join their queue. As to my past posts, give me a few examples of which particular posts and I can answer you more directly on them.

Back to plant talk, you say they got holes at the bottom (is that several holes underneath?) and you also call them hempy "buckets" in your previous post. This has now confused me and may confuse other growers.

I don't have anything against micro grows, but to come in here and call them "hempy buckets" is wrong. All I see from you is a bunch of cut off bottles with pipes all over the place watering several times a day? It looks nice n pink n pretty, but I'm not sure how it belongs in hempy's thread tbh??? Belongs in micro section imo, same as one or two other bottle growers.

...every hempy bucket is fed with an automatic system, 4 times daily.

hope you like it...
Some of your plants look very nice btw, but some of them do look like they need further attention and honestly, I'm not trying to be harsh. Peace.

look man, i didn't say you were a troll but i observe that some growers think so. seeing a lot of folks regarding you as troll creates question marks in rabbit's head. that's all.

besides the tone of your 1st post @me was not a 'friendly help' but rather 'pointing out that pink rabbit knows shit about growing'.
i am not a native speaker so if i got it wrong because you didn't mean it - then please excuse me. still this is the impression i got from reading you.

anyway, i have no argument history with you so let's not begin one, ok?
now back to plant talk! :]

Back to plant talk, you say they got holes at the bottom (is that several holes underneath?) and you also call them hempy "buckets" in your previous post. This has now confused me and may confuse other growers.
ok, now i see.
so you don't believe me when i inform you these are all hempies?
maybe that's because i didn't show all construction steps. i took for granted we trust each other.
but since the case is opposite and proof is what you need to trust me on hempies, then here is a couple of pics for you:

picture.php

in that last big pic you can notice a hole in the side of the flipped container, making it a hempy bucket.

the bottom of the rez is filled with lava rocks, topped up with coco.

I don't have anything against micro grows, but to come in here and call them "hempy buckets" is wrong.
so hopefully you now noticed that they indeed are hempies
what makes it hempy is not a size. some folks like hempy to be a 3gal pot, some like it 1gal. i ama microgrower so i go with micro volumes. get used to it ;]

All I see from you is a bunch of cut off bottles with pipes all over the place watering several times a day? It looks nice n pink n pretty, but I'm not sure how it belongs in hempy's thread tbh??? Belongs in micro section imo, same as one or two other bottle growers.
see, the tone of the above is very negative and insulting.
i am sure it is that way of your talking that makes people dislike you.
try to focus on the facts in a neutral way, without throwing shit on others and you will notice the difference ;]
hope this helps.

Some of your plants look very nice btw, but some of them do look like they need further attention and honestly, I'm not trying to be harsh. Peace.
thanks. as said twice before, their roots got damaged during transplant and i regret being not careful enough. luckily, they all recover every day a bit more - as you will soon see.

btw, thanks again on my watering schedule feedback. i changed it to 1/day as this should suffice, fully agreed .

Rabbit , I love the jugs & drippers !!! thats cool as hell :) i'll bet it works pretty good too :tiphat:

Anyone using a silica additive like Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt in hempy buckets?

I'm about midway through flower and thinking of getting some. I'm thinking I won't see too many benefits adding this late in the plant's cycle. However, I'll then use it from the start of my next grow.

Is it worth adding to hempy? Worth it to add to my mid flower cycle plants?

...back when i was feeding MaxiBloom i was using SilicaBlast as a ph up to balance the acidity of the Maxi while adding silica at the same time.

...i've since switched to Jack's Pro Hydro which has silica as part of iti's mix AND it's not acidic, actually, i add about 1/2 ml of ph down per gallon and it brings it to about 6, ...a nice piss yellow is what i shoot for, lol.

...anyway, i've been told silica ups potency but i've never noticed any improvement and i've had some in my collection for years so i've grown them in several different mediums and styles so i think i'd have noticed.

...so for me at least, it didn't prove 'worth it'.

peace, bozo

Your plants will benefit with some silica in any form in any medium . it builds stem strength & plant cells for a stronger more pest resistant plant . plus it helps pack on the frost !!!
its not per say a growth stimulant .... but it helps strengthen the plants so they can grow bigger & better .

Cool! Good enough for me. I'll pick some up.
