I need to mop out the floor of my veg tent from the run off! It's keeping the humidity high, but don't want bugs/nasty's taking up residence. In my flower room it's fine because there's lots of floor space so it dries very quickly (and probably helps with humidity too!)
Got a 2liter hempy grow going now,severely rootbound and need to transplant but can't get more coco coir until Monday!
Having lots of issues and believe a toxic salt build up (TDS of runoff last week was over 1100ppm @ .5 conversion!).Flushed with plain tap at 250-300ppm,next feed was about 750 to 800ppm and runoff came out around 550ppm.Having pH issues too,need to buy some ph up/down Monday too.
I'll try and get pics up soon.I just hope my babies survive until then and recover after transplant.If not I have a bunch of cuttings I can take from the mom but it sucks cause I can only grow in winter due to no a/c and spring/summer/fall heat down here in the Fla.

The buckethead shop vac is one of the best things I've purchased yet!
Works great for sucking up water out of my runoff tray as well.
If you don't have one yet, go get one!

Guys first grow using hempy's.
Only have a small grow tent 80cm x 45cm x 80cm. The hardware store only had one size pail that I could use being a 3ltr at 16cm high x 19cm. Will be using two pails with blue mystic's for the grow. A mixture of perlight and vermiculite as the medium.
Will this size pails be allright for a grow?

If it's small it'll just take more a few more waterings.
you can also try to think unconventionally and look around for a suitable container, then turn it into a hempy bucket:
Has anyone ever experimented with using rockwool flock, or croutons, as the medium for a hempy bucket? I'm considering giving it a go... might mix it with hydroton, not sure. But I would bet it would make an awesome DTW medium that doesn't need to be watered as often.

I have a bag of the croutons now and have no further use for them. I'm thinking about trying a couple using it. If I do, I'll post my findings here.

Not joking.. sounds like it tho huh.. rockwool in crouton size chunks.. they're nice in flood and drain tables in veg rooms, but that's about it..
