monkeyman put your weatherstripping on around the perimiter of the cabnet with the doors off. DO NOT even try it with the doors on I know, I know they were a pain in the ass to get on but take em back off. As I said weatherstrip all the way around where the doors will touch the cabnet and any shelves you are using then place a strip along 1 side of 1 door where they will meet. Reinstall doors adjust and bingo no problems. Also dont use that foam shit you need the 3/8 D stuff from homedepot or wallyworld

Looking good enhas!

I have used both types of weatherstripping, but had better results with the foam kind. Its all in how you adjust the doors afterwards.

I remember reading a post on OG a few months back where someone used black caulk around their cab door rather than weather stripping to light proof it. What they did was apply a thin film of petrolium jelly to one surface and the caulk to the other mating surface. Then just close the door for 24 hrs. & allow the caulk to cure. I tried this on my cab & let me tell you it works perfectly. Just had to apply a couple of times to fill all the gaps but shit, makes a great gasket around the door. :woohoo:

Source - Dont forget to leave some room for the tub bowing out. When large tubs are filled with water they tend to bow out.

Bipedal - I always wondered if that worked, I too read it over at another site. Sounds like its great.....how long has it lasted? I have changed weather stripping more times than I should, but I also change mylar like its toilet paper in a mexican restaraunt. I like everything clean and new haha

Love the cabs. Everyone will have one at this rate. Foam weatherstripping works great for me. On my sixth grow with same weatherstripping. I also keep my pvc elbows secured in holes by wrapping one layer of weatherstripping around pvc elbow and then twisting into hole. This pressure keeps them in but they can also be moved and turned. I had to rerap the one all the wires go through. I told you I keep it simple. My exhaust ducting same thing. Cut hole just a tad too big. Wrapped ducting with weatherstripping twist through hole ,wala, air and light tight but once again can be moved turned or removed easily. Why glue , goo,or caulk these things since when you remove them or just turn them you would break seal and possibly damage cab? Hey Puta how ya doin. Wondering if you were going to post here. Our threads are growing at same rate. I'll post an update over there soon seeings how I grow in a c-13.

Those furniture slide things ( little black discs) that you plave under furniture would help as well. They are heavy and say youneed to move it for any reason, just slide it across and put into a closet if you want, yeah? NOt only stealth, but moblie stealth?

Nevermind

I use magic sliders, and even with those its still rather tough getting the cab movin...

Much easier with them than without for sure, but make sure to get sliders that do not come out further than the cab itself where you put them....it will catch on the carpet because the cab is so heavy it sinks in a bit.

Also if assembling in a main room, then moving into a closet....make sure it will fit in the doorway first. Its a bitch when your finally ready to move it into the closet....and it doesn't fit (trust me).

Yea, the dissappearing c13r. Seen it many times. Hell, we all dissappeared on OG instantly. Poof.....Don't send a search party. They always resurface eventually. Sumo is updating his c13. 3 nir ak48 and 2 shishkaberry. These are the biggest plants yet at 10 day flower. Still have room to go up. One on left front is just too tall and might just have to get burned a little to slow it down.

I noticed before sumo you use white pots and meant to ask. You never have problems with algae on the roots from the lights penerating the white pots?

Here is what i got when i used a white pot.

Just wondering

No enahs never seen that. These are the expensive white pots Home Depot sells. They are the stone color not brilliant white. I guess I thought they would look good in there and not absorb radiant heat like black. They are thick and light does not penetrate them. This is the sixth grow they are being used. No light is getting to pots right now.
