Most home depots no longer carry mills pride. Do their closetmaids work just as well as the mills pride design?
I believe they are the same dimensions, I'm going to be buying myself that 120 dollar (c22 i think it is) model myself.

Does anyone sell these cabs anymore?

Home Depot now has, where they used to have the Mills Pride cabinets, a few new ones. They're basically the same things, just different manufacturer and a little different dimensions. The two that I saw at a glance were something like this...

$90 - 20" deep, 30" wide, 71" tall = 4.16 sq ft
$75 - 15" deep, 24" wide, 71" tall = 2.5 sq ft

I think I'm going to get the $75 one tomorrow and start working on it. The plans I have for it are here... http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=1020739&postcount=27

How's it look to you guys?

150w HPS, 7" x 4" Carbon Scrubber, 175cfm 4" Vortex, Homemade aircooled reflector, 120w Veg Chamber, passive vents 8" x 8" darkroom louvers. (There's no ducting in the design, but it goes in the scrubber, through the hood, and out a hole in the top.

sackIf I remember right you can get the louvers at photoshops that carry darkroom equipment. I ordered mine on-line because it was easy :joint:

Sorry guys, I don't know anything about the new cabs, or using a 2 chambered one for that matter. The main problems I could see coming up would be getting enough airflow between the individual cabs unless two different fans were setup. And potential light leaks into the flowering chamber during dark hours from the veg/mother chamber. But I've never tried it so who knows...

My local Home Depot, and one a town over, both carry the C-13 and the C-25.

They didn't have them around Christmas time but I saw them a few weeks ago. They might be a season item at some stores.

Took the picture of the fawn today in my back yard. Put me in the mood to inspire the folks here on IC. With the new bulb I am back to maxing out my c13 with trees. TREES. TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES LOUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSE. I got the TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am running low too so really glad to have the cab maxed out. In about 3 weeks or so I will be fat in buds yet again. Get growing.

Lookin' good as usual sumo! Nice baby deer pics too, it does look tasty!

I fired up my c24 after a long break, out of 7 beans I got myself these three bog bubbles. They are 17 days into 12/12 in this pic. Growing them in DWC with Flora Nova nutes.

Boundy29 - thanks! i, too found it at Ikea while not shopping for grow equipment. it's funny how once you take interest in growing, you see potential grow spots in EVERYTHING. I like this cabinet a lot. Mostly because it's all in one cab and looks harmless on the outside. The only thing I could recommend for people wanting to use this cab is to not skimp on the weatherstripping, add spring-tabs to keep the doors shut, and add a third hinge to the flower chamber's doors. They only come with two hinges and a third one in the middle is needed to keep the door from warping/letting in light from the veg room. I haven't yet done this, but was able to adjust the door so that there are no leaks. As for the weather stripping, i found the best to be the stuff that has a hole in the middle and looks like a letter "D" since it squishes/seals better than the solid foam stuff. also, all my doors have two of those things that keep cabinet doors shut, where the pin gets held between the two spring loaded rollers.

Here's the cab in 5th gear:

I think in this pic there are 2 monsters in 5-gal bags and the rest is full of various other things. currently i have more of a SOG going with the shelf set higher.

Highonpottery- Could you elaborate more on the spring tabs you use for keeping the doors shut? Where did you pick them up? I hope its the solution i've been looking for.

they are just a thing that keeps the doors shut. they make several versions of this that all keep cab doors closed. some of them are magnetic. i guess you could call them door retainers. they are found at any hardware store near the knobs and hinges.

you can adjust the fastener on these and i have mine set so that it squishes the weatherstripping when the door is closed.
