good news all - I was in a home depot (a few hours drive from my normal one) today and saw a full supply of millspride cabinets - maybe the switch is a local thing.

Heresthedank,
a 4" Vortex or Hurricane inline fan is good. I have a Hurricane as I got a good price on fleabay. The Hurricanes have 5yr warranty and Vortex has 10yr warranty.
Canfilters are good, I have a CAN2600 i think and they work excellent for scrubbing the air, My one room, smells fresher than the rest of the rooms in my house. haha

its been a while. . .

its been a while. . .

Hello lovelies!

Long time no talk! =P

I finally got around to setting up my C22, and im really looking forward to using these beautiful beasts =)

I have one question regarding the doors, i have them adjusted, and they do come together at the seam almost perfectly, but i feel as tho the weatherstripping on the hinge side of the door is causing the doors to not meet flush with the cabinet. . . (only where the doors meet in the middle, for clarification =P)

Did anyone else have this problem>? I think it is the weatherstipping as ive played with the hinges quite a bit since putting the doors on =P

Anyhelp would be appreciated!

rasta. Common question. First make sure cabinet is level and square by shimming. Rocking cabinet you will see cracks opening up so cabinet should be shimmed so it doesn't rock. Read instructions on hinge adjustments. Hinges can be adjusted in all directions. Close door you are talking about. Loosen proper screw push on door till crack closes, tighten screw. If you start with squared and leveled cabinet any adjustments you make can last a long time. I haven't adjusted mine in a year and have no light leaks. Same weatherstripping for two years now.

Shes perfectly level =) I was quite surprise because i live in an old house which doesnt appear to have been built with a ruler or t-square =P but this puppy sits level =)

i didnt think of having someone hold the doors for me while i adjust it, but good idea =)

Also, i have the c24, the newest model, but i lost the directions and recieved the c22 directions from mills pride. . . their hinges look SLIGHTLY different, so im kinda confused on the adjustment. . . but ill give it a shot =)

thanks for ur help sumo! and ill be sure to come back if i need help ;-)

Awesome pics, dwtc.

And lookin' good, too, mysta.

Just potted my girls up to 8" pots. Got 9 pots crammed into my C13. Built a "ghetto tray" underneath them with several sheets of 6 mil black plastic and duct tape. Flooded them with nutes after the transplant. They are lookin' fuggin' awesome! Here's what I got goin' on: 1 Serious AK47, 1 Spice Bros Apollo11, 1 G13xButterscotch Hawaiian Freebie, 2 Reeferman Love Potion #1, 1 Rez SourD IBL, 2 DJ Short True Blueberry, 1 Rez Williams Wonder - all girls, all going strong. Using a mix of FFOF soil and Perlite. Flooding them once a week with 1/2 strength nutes - combo of Earth Juice, Foxfarm, Biobizz, and Nitrozyme. Giving them a little water in between as the pots get dry. Also, got a SourD IBL male outside that I'm gonna swipe against some lower buds on all the girls so I can get some seeds. Keeping the temps between 77 and 80 in the cab. With another heater running I'm keeping ambient in the shed at 58-66. It's a wonderful life...

Take care, fellas...

air circulation ???

air circulation ???

Lookin good, Lookin good!!!

How important is it for the air within the cab to be circulating? I've checked at a couple Walmarts for the clippy fans that I see some of you using in your cabs, and I keep getting "thats more of a seasonal item...". I'm sure my exhaust fan is doing a good job of providing fresh air, just curious how important it is to be moving that fresh air around the cab at the same time.

Its important to me so I use 2. Keeps the canopy cool and not to mention the hot air from the hood gets circulated. Circulated co2 is a good thing.

RadioShack if you have one. This is the only place I could find one out of season. You might find a hardware store still stocking them like homedepot and lowes or any other hardwaqre store ib your town. Also try the automotive section in wally world. The have a cool ass fan for a car. it comes witha cigarrett lighter adapt but I think you can change it I its a last resort.

you can probably find one online for cheap since there is no demand this time of year

I've got all of the above mentioned within a 10 minute drive. I'll have to take an adventure to radio shack for more than just a new microscope  thanks everyone!

I can't complain about the health of my plants at all for right now (knocks on wood...). I do think a fan would help strengthen the branches earlier on so I wouldn't have to tie them so much toward the end to support the bud weight. And I'm sure the benefits of circulating air would be nice too :joint:
I did have to remove my AK from the patch. For some reason that I haven't figured out she went big time hermie on me :fsu:

Here's my NL family at 47 days and down...
