Copalita Oaxacan x Chimera's 1973 Highland Guerrero x Blueberry (HM x BB)

You can see the blueberry influence, in the female flowers. not a pure or tropical sativa. DJ Short worked with 1970's Highland Oaxacan Gold and Thai genetics. The first pictured male is a good expression of Guerrero.

This is a quick dried popcorn bud of Jarilla. First few minutes are definitely trippy. Visually and mentally.

Not really upper pot so much, more mellow but with the weird stuff going on for first part. Helps with freakouts from loss of control.

Sitting in semi darkness and the shadows appear to move around. Thought stream stops suddenly and another starts. Mental door opens and closes behind you and you are in another room.

This stuff is not regarded as trip weed so was not expecting it. I ran special lights so that may have affected things.

Elchischas - I do love the look of that Oaxacan plant. The structure, the thin leaves, the frosty buds, and the reputation it has. I have just acquired some Mextiza seeds that I'm thrilled about.

Yesum - Thanks for the posts of the Jarilla.

Copalita Oaxacan x Colombian

Copalita Oaxacan x Colombian

Early testing of the Copalita Oaxacan crosses. Copalita is smoking nice as a blend with both of these Colombians. I'm looking for a stable sex male from these crosses.

Copalita Oaxacan x [(Colombian Gold / 1960's Jamaican Lambsbread) x Colombian Gold]

Coplalita Oaxacan x Punto Rojo

I used the Highland Guerrero x Blueberry male a lot, but in poly hybrids. I crossed the Highland Guerrero x Blueberry (HMBB) male to Cannabiogen's Destroyer (DS) its more of a Skunk high than a Haze high. A poly hybrid on both sides, like a box of Chocoaltes you never know what you're going to get.
Charlie Garcia's partner had a 1960's Mexican x Colombian that was the original male used in Destroyer, that yields Red Hair phenotyes with a Mexican high. Similar high to Copalita.

Destroyer x Highland Guerrero / Blueberry

yes it is! MisterD Charlie told me once the origin of this plant and the guy who's gave to him. to be honest my friend it was many years ago and I use to forget the things, but maybe you can tell us more about this fascinating cut... Highland Oaxaca Gold is just a name, but into Oaxaca land there's more than 8 landraces easly will be a quite hard to know what of all Oaxaca strains is the HOG. but let me tell you that no one Oaxaca strain is bad, no sir! believe me.
Looking forward to Charlie or dubi letting loose with that Oaxacan. Just have to enjoy the pics for now.
definately Yesum! I wish play with this old lady again, hope we get it soon as posible.
Yesum, almost all cannabis from Sinaloa are strong as hell, they work and know very well harvest potent weed, very nice cola have you there my friend ! thanks for share.

Bendiciones.....

Bendiciones.....

El Chischas, todo bien por aca. La vida te tumba, y te levantas y segues adelante.

Aqui te mando unos fotos de lo que encontre en la Mextiza.

ThaiBliss~ here are a couple pics of Mextiza. This one was dominant Oaxacan profile and turned out to be male; just beautiful. I used him extensively in breeding with a Mextiza female. This particular female smoked like the best classic Mexican herb~ old school. The vibrant, giggly, and spiritual high...just beautiful. I also used the male with Bully (Skunk Haze), Vietnamese Black, and a few others.

For your viewing pleasure.....Mextiza

I was thinking to my self that a Oaxaca 79's X highland guerrero X BB could be a great cross like mextiza type.

Oaxacan 79 looks more hazy / tropical than other Oaxacan varieties.

Chimera's Highland Guerrero x Blueberry (HMBB) has good resin coverage and a great high for 12 - 13 weeks of flowering. I select for the Mexican side of the family. Copalita Oaxacan has hermaphroditic tendencies. HM X BB should help stabilize an Oaxacan landrace while adding some power to the high.

Anyone have any comments on how Chimera's Highland Guerrero Blueberry compares to Cannabiogen's Mextiza?

Hello Satva, could be so interesting try to made this 75% pure mexican cross one day. I use to grow the plants into a similar enviroment of this native plants, so im really interested to do one day this cross.

I grew 3 packs of each this spring. Had poor germ, mutants and Hermis in the reg mextiza but every female was awesome in its own way. Great effects on all very well balanced high and amazingly fast for such great effect(8 weeks from seed) . The terps on this line are special. I would love for Charlie to cross that oaxacan cut to a variety of sats like they did with the meao Thai male years ago, I think the results would be spectacular even if they were a bit unstable. Some of the best seeds I've popped in years.

I got nearly perfect germ on the 10+ year old hmxbb. 12 females 1 Hermi 16 males. The hmxbb flowered 14 weeks from seed so significantly longer. My biggest gripe with the hmxbb is the lack of smell/taste. That Mexican must have been kind of bland in that department. The floral hashy bb doesn't do a lot to tickle my senses either. The high is very special though. Spiritual, spacy, heady closest thing I've found to psilocybin in weed. Not like a heroic dose but gives me a nearly identical feeling to microdosing which I do twice a week. It is a unique headspace, but not really great for working on way too spacy.

The hmxbb high really lasts and it is deceptively potent but the come down is a bit harsh. Definitely not everyday weed at least for me but one I'm happy to have in the stash for special occasions. I think the f2's have immense potential and I look forward to finding a keeper there.

I've found that older folks love the hmxbb, younger not so much. Everybody loves the Mextiza
