Grew it out too. About 80 day flower. Hybrid pot with citrus smell and medium resin production.

The hybrid was nothing special. Back when brick weed was the regular smoke it would be very nice, but compared to medical grade bud it is lack luster. Just commercial weed. It had a super orange citrus smell though.Nice, but so. How was the quality on your hybrid?! By the way, your last pic remind me of the bud structure of my late oaxacan pheno.
Hey,
She seem to have a bit of tic tac yield,... Hope her buzz is great!

Surely it is not a pure tropical sativa like one would expect from Mexican pre-70, most likely an hybrid dedicated to commercial purpose.
Smell was sweet fruity/berry, a good point for me was it did not evolve to tar smell. Good kick ass high, more long lasting than what I experienced with my friend's grow. It is somewhat energetic but maybe a bit light for experienced smokers. I had difficulty to sleep even 3 hours later the spliff so most probably, i won't grow it often as my usual moment to smoke is during the evening. But is ok for party time
Brick Top said:I don't know if what you got is the Acapulco Gold from Dr. Greenthumb's old "Heritage Line," but if it is I hope you get something better than I did. I grew Acapulco Gold decades ago when it first hit my area, and what I got from Dr. Greenthunb was more like Ghetto Gold than Acapulco Gold. There was nothing about the plants, growth structure, looks, odor, color, yield and high that was anywhere close to "The Real McCoy" Acapulco Gold I both bought and grew decades before.
Thanks for the info Mustafunk, i've done some research on Snowhigh's Acapulco Gold and found some very nice pictures , one of the Acapulco Gold pictures describes a red stem and pistil pheno, also on Bodhi's picture albums on his profile, their is a album titled Oaxacan Zipolite, in the album a red pistil Acapulco Gold is shown, they might be related.
