Well, think about it then pull the top off. Those babies are going to overgrow that thing in a month. Good problems, eh?

Just joined this web site because it seems to have some very experienced people in it. I first got hooked because of this thread. You all seem to be doing very great! I am happy for you all. I hope to be able to contribute as well as learn new things here myself. Even though this is my 7th year, i still love to learn new tricks and ideas every year. Anyways, here are my ladies put in on the 17th. my blue dreams went into flower a little bit but the rest has been just fine. They have been outside under a hoop house with sup light since April, when they were just little clones. They now rest in a 600 gallon pot with brand new soil. we are getting ready to put cages around them next. Happy growing...

So I had a soil test of Happy Frog

The big issue is EC (or ergs if you prefer) is 3.06...no bueno for me. pH 6.8 with 8% H base cation saturation. Organic matter 30.6 but cec only 20.5. Base cation saturations Ca 55, Mg 32, K 4 and Na 1. Way too much Mg and not enough Ca. Low P at only 67 ppm...low micros except iron which is very high. And very high N.

Not gonna be my choice...obviously I suspect poor compost/worm castings

Schrews, I'm using the vermifire this year and amended it with kelp meal, alfalfa meal, neem seed meal, and a little oyster shell flour. Filled the pots, watered em down, and let them sit for about a week and a half before planting.

Did you know the VermiFire also comes in 2 cubic yard totes? They equal over half a pallet of soil each for about $400.

A classic stupid mistake.

A classic stupid mistake.

I started this thing too early. Literally a brix of 16, follows the sun like a trouper...but in too small a pot. It would be a fight to get it to go out instead of up. Fuck me runnin backwards. You would think I would know better.

Good luck and big trees to all outdoor growers this season! :)

This year I'm trying Ace's Zamaldelica (i.e. Zamal x Malawi/Thai). One female was selected among 5, it looked most Thai to me (leaf shape and color). It wasn't the most vigorous one but I hope to have a nice tree in the end. It's about 1.5 meters tall now. The spot is at 44 degrees north, with good soil.

Set up your own site with your own rules and mods.
And decide early if you want maximum public exposure for marketing reasons or focus on real information exchange.

One comes with the stupid kids, uneducated know-it-alls, eternal hippies, trolls and shills the other could be invite only.
