imo tml i may have an idea as to your mite problem, your soil, it could be contaminated but just a guess loooking good other wise seedlings are a pain my bogglegum clones are growing fast where as my c99 seedlings are not as fast but i geuss thats the point of cloning!!!! oh how long after you revegged would you say was the earliest yuou could flower im revegging now and didnt trim roots and im getting new growth within the first week single leaves but as soon as the turn normal again im gonna flip the lights!!!!!

 TML - sure looking fine in your garden, eh? Have you been continuing your cryogenic miticidal experiments? :chin:

Good call on the early feedings - you've developed quite an eye for understanding your plants. I think you'll definitely have some to flower by New Year - even if you start a some a little early, with a buncha clones you will catch up on yield quickly. That Freeze #2 looks like it could be a chubby little amazon!!!

Off with their heads..now they will slow a bit..then take off..right on I'll be right behind you a week or two doing the same thing.. :woohoo:
Looking good..a couple look like they were a little low on N but if you fed um..they should be good..keep the roots happy and the plant will follow..
Too late..need sleep..I'll be back..

Hey Guys

Eulogy - Welcome to the show :lurk: Noone is ever late in my thread...we move at weed speed around here :wink:Just in time for a new grow

The Budfather - I thought about that. maybe the soil is contaminated  They seemed to be leaving the seedlings alone and only after the BB clones. I think I thwarted the small uprising...havn't seen one in a few days...never know with them little buggers though :cuss:
My Hempstar re-veg took about 10 weeks before I was ready to flower again. It's quite the long process.

(joint rolling intermission...cheesy elevator music plays in the back)

Mr GreenJeans - Thanks eh.
Nope, no more plants in the snow fer a bit :yoinks: Wouldn't last long now...it's full blown winter.
Never had seedlings need feedings this early before, but like you said...the eye doesn't lie. I think I even undercut them a bit...some still look hungry.
I did use a helleva lotta perlite in that seedling mix...I'm figuring that's why they're so hungry so early.

packn2puff - They did slow quite a bit. I'm sure the cooler temps aren't helping the speed growth factor either. It gets down to about 15C (59F) in lights out. I'm running 18/6 right now. Thinking bout bumping it up to 20 or 22 hours veg for warmth and faster growth now.
I used to like vegging at 16/8 just to save power  Great for summer.

Figured I'd start adding a quick joke of the week to keep things interesting :biglaugh:

Q: What's the difference between a woman in church and a woman in the bath tub?

A: The woman at church has hope in her soul......:yoinks: :biglaugh:

Have a good one guys

The Budfather - Breeding has been on my brain :chin: Maybe I should make an effort to collect some pollen this time around. Not too sure I'd do Hempstar X Blueberry though, although it would be a potently scary cross.
Not too sure those "tastes" would mesh well together. I wanted to breed Passion #1 badly. We'll see what santa brings too....you just never know :chin:

Insomniac - Keep your panties on! :biglaugh: We'll consider this a verbal update. Gonna need a day or 2 for the good picture kind
I really hate X-mas and the whole holiday season...but this year it ain't so bad
Leafs have seemed to come out of their slump...maybe it won't be such a bad holiday after all

User Name - All is well here UN. Hope the same for you. Things are a little slow here gettin this new grow going, and I'm finding it hard to get excited about my grow lately. Probably cuz I'm not flowering
Kept the updates to a minimum untill I have some sexual identity.
I'm always lurking in the dark though :sasmokin:

Picture update coming soon

Blueberry clones finally have some true leaves instead of those funky single bladed claws...so I'm sure they'll be ready for clippings for cloning in about another week.
Havn't seen a mite on them in quite awhile either...should be clear

I transplanted all but Hempstar-1 and Grape yesterday (I ran outta buckets) how is that for ghetto growing? Can't even transplant cuz I didn't have enough pots. Just sad on my part :pointlaug going to the $ store today though to ammend my stupidity problem

Gave a second "full dosage" feeding and some plants still lean to the yellow side :chin: I guess I might have to increase my feeding regularity.
^ yeah...that's about as technical as I'm getting.

Plan on taking early sexing cuts within this week, so I should know who's who within the next couple weeks.

I got some time off here...so why everyone is running around hectic and busy, I'll be sitting here all warm and cozy with some canna-cocoa and a fat joint! :joint:

Hiya TML
Man, I hear ya on XMas. For many years it wasn't a big thing for either myself or the mrs - but now with a young child in the house it can be a fun thing again, we don't emphasize the commercial side is all. One of those parent things I just didn't understand at all until I was one... :chin:

As you know I don't like fussing too much either - K.I.S.S. is my philosophy. I run out of pots too, when I expand the population I just plain forget about the pots every time. My fix - last time at the shop I bought a 1/2 dozen 1 and 3 gallon grow bags so now I always have something around if needed, cheap solution.

Hope Cannabis Clause brings you a nice surprise. Hey, you're close to the Bering Straits - maybe he'll bring you some of that special energy enhanced irradiated Chernobyl potting soil - sterile, and high energy  Stay canna cozy next to that fireplace! :joint:

Looking forward to your picture update...

TML16, Now how exactly, does that work; with Santa and the seed thang.
I should of put some on my list.

By the way, what is your method for collecting pollen. I just did it yesterday, and it was halarious trying to get it in the bag. You know, I bumppeed the plant with the empty bag, pollen fell before the bag made it under the site. You should of seen it, it was funny.

I'm "rooting" for the freak.. I hope that grape ends up being a HUGE smelly beautiful bush!

hi TML16....I think you need more canucks in here so.. here i am! I'll try not to break into hoser talk too often.. only when there is a really big snow or a sale on labatts light.

I am totally impressed with anyone that can get pollen anywhere near a bag.. I think I pollenated a viet black with house dust over a week! We use the highly technical method of ball-tapping it onto the back of a picture..(I can see it on photo paper better) and then dab with a q-tip.

:lurk:

Hi Jenna- Nice to meet ya. I like your idea. I see you have also had a few laughs about collecting pollen. It was also mentioned to use color paper.

I see you brought popcorn !

Mr GreenJeans - Bah Humbug! :biglaugh: Yeah, I'm sure kids help make it more festive.
I had a few more pots, just didn't want to go too big and to try and keep them in all equal size buckets. I got it all sorted now. Grow bags might be a good pick up if I just run into them...they probably store very easily

Chilly Willy - You dunno about the Cannabis Clause man? He knows when you are sober...and he knows when you are baked! :yoinks:
Gotta ask for seeds. Doesn't look like I'll be gettin any gifted...but maybe I can wear the beard and red hat for a minute and sneak off a lil somethin for myself :yummy:
Never collected pollen yet myself. Would have loved to watched and laughed at you doing it though :pointlaug I am debating keeping a male for pollen this round though :chin:

Jenna - Hello. I've never had a woman in the thread before...I shoulda cleaned up a bit  I really wish PN2P wouldn't leave his underwear on the floor :yoinks:
That Grape freak was just transplanted today. Growth is still freakish, but seems healthy
Great to have more Canucks in here

Insomniac and I thought we were the only Leafs fans around ICmag.
I always keep the fridge stocked with Moosehead, don't be afraid to reach on in the snowbank off the back porch and grab one eh
Thanks for the encouragement  and the great tips with your impressive ball-tapping methods  I do mean the pollen collection :sasmokin:
Stop in anytime

Picture Update

Hempstar -
Hempstar #1
7622Hempstar-1_Early_Veg.jpg

^ Was one of the last to get transplanted, since it's one of the smallest. A little light in colour for my liking, but they've been getting full feedings and seem healthy

Hempstar #2
7622Hempstar-2_Early_Veg.jpg

^^ One of my favourites right now. Showin great healthy growth

Hempstar #3
7622Hempstar-3_Early_Veg.jpg

^^^ Stretchiest Hempstar plant I've had yet. Discoloured growth keeps coming with new leaves and then normalizes. Something tells me this plant is a male...but that's just speculation.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

The Freeze -
Freeze #1
7622Freeze-1_Early_Veg.jpg

^^^^ Another of my favourites right now. Great healthy green growth...will make a helluva nice bush :yummy:

Freeze #2
7622Freeze-2_Early_Veg.jpg

^^^^^ Still a little pale in colour, but grows like a monster. It is my other suspected male, but it's still much too early to tell.

Continued...

Grape -
7622Grape_Early_Veg.jpg

^ Still a little dirty from the transplant, it was the other runt that got later than other plants transplant. Very tight nodes and nice thick stem though. I think if this is a female and I give it lots of veg time, I could have a winner

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Blueberry -
Blueberry #1
7622Blueberry_Clone-1.jpg

^^ Bondaged. Trying to grow a blueberry bush...very slow, slow growth...finally showing some "true" leaces. This one was first to root and showed more vigorous growth, but...

Bluberry #2
7622Blueberry_Clone-2.jpg

^^^ #2 took off this week and put on some nice "true" leaves. She is getting LST'ed as well. Shouldn't be long before I can start taking some cuttings.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

7622Early_Veg_Group_Shot_2.jpg

^^^^ The grow is starting to come along. I'm going to be taking early sexing cuts within the week.
Males will most likely be culled. If I can come up with a plan to keep 1 for pollen (preferably a Hempstar) I will

7622Early_Veg_Group_Shot_1.jpg

^^^^^ After sex is determined, a round of cloning cuts will be started.
Flowering will be commenced when I get some cloned roots :joint:
Going to flower 3 at a time a couple times around. Probably starting off with Hempstar, Blueberry, and Freeze combo providing I have the Hempstar/Freeze fems :woohoo:
_____________________________________________________________________________

I hope you enjoyed the update :lurk: (especially you Insomniac...hope I cured your demand )

Next picture update should be with a few less plants possibly :sasmokin:

mmmm Moosehead :friends:

I can't WAIT to see freeze in flower! Plus that grape looks to be a great candidate for a bush. If you get a male, which one do you want to keep? Hempstar?

Have a good week before christmas! :joint:
I'll have to show you an updated picture of my little bagseed tonight when the lights turn on.

EDIT: okay TML here's the pictures. I strapped her down as well. Hopefully she'll take off after the transplant. :joint:

TML16-

I like that, you have a nice assortment there.

So when they say blueberry, does that mean it shows those colors in the plant ? That hempster is an indica, right ?

Can't wait to see these grow up !!!

Hey, got the new pics in, for the scrog / sog.

Insomniac - :friends: Crackin a cold Moosehead now. It's a little early, but what the hell, I got some time off :joint:
Freeze will be interesting, always nice to grow a new strain.
Grape...that little freak will be an interesting grow...will get a extra long veg if it's fem.
Hempstar would be the candidate for any pollen grabbing

I see you are moving quite along with your bagseed grow.
Looks to have a little nutrient lockout...possibly high PH soil. Your soil looks like it has alot of bark in it which can be high on the PH scale.
I don't measure the PH in my soil, but I use Earth worm castings, bone meal, dolomite lime, and epsom salts in my soil mix.
I also use Epsom salts with my feeding mixes to help the plants break down the nutes.
You say you just transplanted. See what happens in the next few days. A little perlite to help your roots breath a bit better never hurts.

Then again...even with plenty of epsom salts, I still seem to have a Mag. def in Hempstar #3

What lighting are you using right now?
Did you early top that plant? Great bondage job!

Chilly Willy - Glad you like the fruity buffet :yummy:
Blueberry is a very popular strain that many breeders have been working with. I'm not exactly sure of the lineage of my BB genetics, but it definately is Blueberry. It's probably called Blueberry because it tastes just like Blueberries. And by the looks of my last harvest.....
7622Blueberry_Day_54_Harvest-2.jpg

7622Blueberry_Dry_Nug-2.jpg

You get the nice purple Blueberry look too
8378smiley-drool2.gif
Not to mention the intense couchlock buzz
8378smiley-joint.gif
and Blueberry tastes and deisel like aromas
8378smiley-drool1.gif

The Hempstar is a 50/50 cross. It is Northern Lights #5 X Haze. Most of my Hempstar grows in the past were with a NL (indica) dominant.
Seems my Hempstar #3 this time around has a slight bit more sativa influence.

Sexing cuts coming in a few days...we should know what's under the panties in about 10 days now! :woohoo:

Thanks for the help TML. I haven't checked the PH runoff of the new pots yet. I will add some epsom salts into the water next time because I forgot to add that to the soil. The soil is Organic with some bone meal added for flowing. And yes, I have just been lazy and didn't buy perlite yet, haha.
Enjoy your time off! I've got all next week to myself

Oops didnt see your last two questions. Right now she's vegging under 4 cfls. 2 of each spectrum. I might flower with them just to see the results. I have seen some really frosty buds with just cfls. :yoinks: Then again, I might buy myself a nice little christmas present and go to a 250hps. :joint:
And no, I didn't top! Weird I know, it was like it topped itself. But now that I'm training it doesn't matter too much anymore.
