Not nearly as bad as it once was,alot more people speak up against it,restaurants,stores,and public places in general.
Did you see in Arizona last week at a Starbucks a patron told the manager the 6 cops in uniform made he/she uncomfortable.The manager asked them to leave,I wish I had been there.I would have given the patron as well as the manager a piece of my mind.On the other side of the token if they were 6 Latinos sitting there I would have spoken up same as for the police.
That shit dont fly,maybe at a Trump rally.But anywhere else and things will probably get heated.

I traveled quite a bit for work and have seen it in many places. Even in Mass - RI, I've heard Obama publicly referred to as "Da Nigga" on several occasions by people who immediately were exed of my list. Racism is alive and well in the US - sad but true.

Yes, I've become very intolerant too. Family members and thirty year friends - Toast. I know I can't fix those people and it is not going to be a part of my world.
I have not seen overt racism here, but there are allot of tones defending, denying or trying to rationalize it. Some of the denials sound pretty hollow too.
why is it certain members only spend their posts belittling and attacking people, instead of actually giving their solutions for the difficult issues facing humanity as a whole? what will it bring if you convince your self that some 40 to 50 % of your fellow citizens are enemies?

It's a personal choice. I've had some long time (decades and many miles) close friends and came to a point where I was not willing to look the other way any more. I think I became more intolerant. Racism has everything to do with the upcoming election making it a valid part of this discussion.
Trying to have a discussion with someone half your age opens your eyes how different there thought process is. Every generation before us have done most the same shit. Trying to teach only brings stress because they know better lol. By that logic everyone called a racist should just agree. By that logic defending ones character is defending racism. Its really mind blowing there are people this stupid. So whats the point trying to have a intelligent discussion. So we have to baby talk for them to understand. I dont need stress at my age. So keeping it tight is best for my health.
