I'm pretty sure Bernie used a talking point he thought was something good for Cuban children. People put way to much importance on comments like that. Everyone sticks there foot in there month from time to time. In no way does Bernie think Fidel Castro was a good man. Since most Dems/Rep are afraid of Bernies policies there gonna make everything he does look worse.

It is Bernie's fault for being able to see the bright side of anything. He really did put his foot in his mouth there. I am sure it will be taken way out of context by everyone. I doubt most Americans know anything about Cuba's education system. I don't. It was news to me that Castro did anything positive for his people. It also explains why Cubans can keep a car running from the 50's with homemade parts.

Bernie touts the green new deal as a potential to produce 20 million new jobs.............After he eliminates 30 million jobs in the fossil fuel industry.
He wants to eliminate private health insurance and it's millions of workers. I'd be willing to bet those folks will find new jobs in government to run single payer. Government jobs pay more than private sector jobs.
So you just want to keep it the same failed system we've had for decades. It has to start somewhere. The dems/rep are not gonna ever do it.

You can start by educating yourself on debt based fiat currency and how it affects wages, wealth distribution and inflation.
Then head over to the AMA and look in to their control over the number of doctors and universities that educate doctors. Then ask yourself how much would healthcare cost if we had as many doctors as we have lawyers.
Bernie does not speak to problems of inequality as it relates to the Federal Reserve bank. He just spouts the same crap about giving our corrupt government more money.... and we are supposed to believe this huge corrupt body with a deeply entrenched workforce dependent on the status quo will magically transform to a social justice dynamo.
How many years have you listened politicians making promises they don't keep? Why do you believe someone who's list of ambitions makes him unqualified for the tasks when you read his resume?

So how much emphasis do folks think the media will put on the south Carolina results? Per the Google's, 2012 was the only time SC went to the dems, it isnt a state they will win in. I dont see why it is relevant to the broad electability discussion. It is like winning the primary amongst the 10 Democrats that live in KS, it doesnt matter since they aren't going to win in the general. Same as it doesnt matter about winning CA/NY/MA/IL, those states are going to go for the dems. I want to know who can carry the rust belt and ideally Florida.
