Electric Wizard must be one of the best bands ever. And at the very least, THE HEAVIEST. And god what groove they got. I understood that they had new 10" (split?) release coming this spring?

Bandmembers would propably be more than happy to smoke your cross.

"In this world of sorcery
Vision through THC
Feedback will free
Three kings crowned with weed, yeah"

Being listening three days straight Atomizer albums "The Only Weapon of Choice" and "Songs of Slaughter - Songs of Sacrifice"... Amazing stuff too. Deströyer 666, The Crown and Hobb's Angel of Death meet in a barfight in Melbourn.

But what becomes of me? And what of these hands, that will never be clean?

That would be great to sit down with Electric Wizard and smoke some doobs.lol Yeah I was thinking about calling my cross "Stone magnet" after the E.W. song on "Come my Fanatics..."This will be a Haze heavy cross, so it should be perfect for smoking and then listening to music. I hadn't heard anything new was coming from them (it would be about time), and I will def. keep my eye open for it.
If you dig E.W. you might like the band "Ramesses" which is comprised of the ex bass player and drummer from E.W. - kinda in the same vein , I dig em. They have just picked up Billy Anderson as a producer ,so when they finally do come out with a new album, I think it will be their best one yet.

Cool. Electric Wizard is also the best thing you can listen while stoned. You really can hear that music is composed under the influence... Hope you post about your Stone Magnet to breeders forum when it's done, sure would love to see that.

I'll need to check out that band you mentioned.. hope there are CD's available.

Ramesses has two cd's out at present, I would say "The Tomb" is the better of the two, Ramesses is a new band so they are kinda still polishing up their sound a little, I think their next album will be even better.
I went through and re installed all my Electric Wizard on my media player , so I've been jammin' out today.Yeah the cross should be interesting to say the least, it is my first time making beans so hopefully everything goes well...I decide one day I wanted to mess around with making a cross so I'm in the process of flowering a male right now to get some pollen.

Down is pretty well known, but not mainstream. Most metal heads in the states will know who you're talking about.

I like down. I feel like they were really underrated. Everybody was wanting a new pantera album so a lot of people around where I live were pissed when he came out with the down albums. I defiantly like down's sound a lot better than superjoint.

Slayer is the bible rewritten.
On 911, I went over to the CD store and Bought God hates us all. I then went home and listened to it while I watched the towers fall.

Slayer cheered me up!

Wasn't that crazy - it got pushed back like two times I think from when it was supposed to. That screwed with my head for a long time.

This is kinda unrelated but anybody ever watch the Pantera home videos? That was some funny shit. I wish Phil wouldn't have turned into such a dick.

I was just thinking of some other metal bands I like and this band is not really metal but I really dig some old Blackflag with henry rollins. That shit just really gets me going.

btw, anybody check out the henry rollins show on ifc. most of the time it sucks but he had slayer on when their new album came out. Kerry kicks ass. heres the link.

electric wizard is cool and all, but their stuff is way to long and drawn out, and pretty much all sounds the same, kinda boring to listen to after a while. if i was gonna listen to that, id just listen to JERUSALEM by SLEEP, that...... is a record. and a fucking insane one at that.

I have always dug Sleep. I bought their first one one Cassette tape, before Cds had hit the mainstream. You're right , Electric Wizard is alittle slow for many people's taste, but I always loved their "Come my Fanatics" album, It was their best material ,musically anyway, and I also liked "Dopethrone" as well(except some songs were just too long). Well to each his own.

Yea I love Rebel meets Rebel. I went and saw David Allen Coe a couple of months ago and he played a lot of the Rebel meets Rebel stuff(Coe wasn't that great this time but I drank some of the best blueberry moonshine I've ever tasted:yummy:).

I really dig the southern metal stuff and I see a lot more of it coming out in the future. There is a lot of bands around where I live that are doing it now and it kicks ass. And its very stoner friendly. The band that opened for david allen coe(can't remember their name but they are a local band) kicked ass and all their stuff was about smoking weed and cooking meth(which I don't condone and am firmly against).
