I didn't read the whole thread so idk if they've been mentioned before but there's this death metal band called Cannabis Corpse that take songs written by Cannibal Corpse and change the lyrics/song titles so they are about...you guessed it, BUD!
They actually play really well, but I guess you'd have to be into death metal or Cannibal Corpse already to get into em...

In my opinion ,Iron Maiden is one of the greatest if not the greatest or in the top 5 metal bands of all time....Well here in the picture is the.... Iron Maiden "that didn't make it"....These guys "Lucifers Friend" are the Iron Maiden sound long before Iron maiden came out as a band (yes even the vocals too)...This album came out in 1973....why am i mentioning this? Well it just struck me ,when i first found this record 5 years ago or so....Maiden went on to become gods ,make millions ..whilst these guys faded into obscurity...Thats how it goes sometimes..

Same thing with peter frampton.....you think he invented that talking into the voice box thing he became famous for? Nope ...Last song on side 2 (Butterfly Bleu) of Iron Butterflys metamorphosis album 1970...Everybody copies somebody somehow,,,
